Bulwark a 20 metre tall wall of earth that slightly curved around him rose from the ground. Then it hit, for a brief moment they felt a gust of cold wind before that even registered in their minds everything froze.
The ground turned to ice, the air became too cold to breath in, the wall of earth was frozen over but it did it job, the giant fireball had disappeared immediately without a fight. Sebas breathed a sigh of relief. You didn't tell us about this said the leader of the group.
This feels like arcane magic. It not replied Sebas, if it was we would be dead and masters don't have enough mana to cast arcane magic, it a spell derived from arcane magic but it weaker.
You saying this is a weakened spell? The entire 5 kilometres around them was frozen solid. Yes, I didn't know she had learnt this. Very few amongst the old Masters of her family had learnt it. It appears I've underestimated you princess, he said.
She had been quiet the entire time listening to them talk. The two who attacked her before did not manage to get behind the wall but they did manage to prevent themselves from freezing over.
They had a little bit of ice over their bodies, they manage to use their mana to protect themselves. It appears of the six people these two were assassins, the leader and one other man were mages and of the other two, one was a swordsman and the other a tank like Sebas.
The cold was effecting the speed of these two assassins, the leader had flames over his body yet they keep flickering struggling to combat the cold. The tank had a round black shield compared to Sebas rectangular silver shield, his shield had ice on it in as well.
The swordsman had a broad sword and heavy armour, almost like the knight of the radiant church but his armour was not gold and White but silver and little bit of black. Within the frozen domain she was the king, she could sense everything.
She could feel the other mage casting spells, he created tiny balls of water that just froze over a second later and shatter. She could feel the two assassins circling her, their intent clear as day to her.
She sighed, she waved her hand and hundred icicles appears around her, each one with a blue aura surrounding them. This was intent, the prerequisites to become a master, one must learn intent and she had learnt the ice intent, she could strengthen any Ice related abilities with or produce a cold aura without magic or mana.
It was almost impossible for somebody without intent to defeat one with it unfortunately for her all of her opponent were masters. She sent the icicles flying multiple times faster than sound.
Sebas and the other tank raised their Shields, the mages and the swordsman stood behind them, she saw them buckle under the onslaught of the icicles, the assassins on the other hand dealt with them differently.
They were obviously not as fast as the icicles but they moved like phantoms, their hands on the other hand were almost as fast so they could parry those icicles they couldn't dodge. This lasted for a few seconds before she saw a giant serpent made of water flying towards her.
She didn't even bother to dodge, as soon the water serpent was a few centimetres away from her, it froze and turned into an ice serpent. It circled around her and looked at her opponents.
It lunged at them with it mouth open, the surrounding cold air strengthening it and making it bigger at tremendous speed. The swordsman rushed forward to meet it. Great cleaver he shouted.
A giant 10 metre long blue sword appeared to meet the now 4 metres thick serpent standing at over 70 metres long, the sword looked tiny compared to it yet when they met, the serpent and the sword held each other at bay, a giant shockwaves shook the area yet the ice on the ground held.
Nobell moved, the assassins moved at the same time so did the swordsman. The two mages were casting spells while the tanks protected them. The swordsman was having a bout with the ice serpent moving at blurring speed, swords of flames and water disks descended from the sky towards her.
She swung her sword at the woman while simultaneously jumping to dodge the man and create ice shields to block the spells. Normally mages are physically weaker than those of the warrior class like assassins yet she could cold her own against two of them.
This was because of her mana, technically she was still weaker than warriors but only those whose mana purity matches hers. She had always been told her family technique was heaven grade but she finds that hard to believe.
She had always had mana more pure than those with heaven grade techniques, she suspect her familys is legendary grade instead. Of course she's too weak to confirm that. While lost in her thought a dagger appeared infront of her face, the man had disappeared in smoke and appeared before her.
She spun around dodging the dagger and delivered a kick to his face, he couldn't react in time and was sent flying 500 metre away blood flowing from his nose. She immediately jumped towards the woman while simultaneously casting a spell.
Lady of the white spread your arms and sway to the tune, dancing snow there was ting sound and the snow started moving, the flakes hitting each other creating a tune, it started from her and spread outwards like a cyclone. The tanks used defensive techniques, iron dome, castle guard, an iron dome appeared around the group and then a see through brown castle appeared over it.
The sharp flakes of snow bounced off the Castle, more spells came flying towards her, she exchanged hundred of moves with the woman in a second while simultaneously dodging the spells, the water spells were less effective as most just freeze over before there could touch her.
The two assassins and swordman had a harder time dealing with the flames but somehow they manages to survive only taking minimal damage, infact it seemed they knew where there were less flakes and were always there.
The fire mage was a bit annoying but not much of an issue either, it seemed the two mages were not in there right minds, afterall they had seen her cast a spell while moving, they knew how hard that was.
The woman was also terrified, she was sweating and her sweat would just freeze instantly. Everytime she exchanged moves with her, she could feel her arm shake, the woman was barely holding on, on her own.
She barely block or dodge her rapier then Nobell saw it, the desperation in her eyes, it was not because of the fight and she figured out what it was, the woman had a mark on her neck, a slave mark, fuck she thought.
