Odette's jaw dropped.
She stared at the Masked Alpha in confusion, "Your Majesty, I don't need to be protected. I can take care of myself just fine!"
"I am not trying to protect you!" The Masked Alpha denied so quickly that it caught Odette off guard.
Realizing his mistake, the Masked Alpha quickly cleared his throat, and added, "I'm going to Ymir's tower to learn a few spells as well. He's the best wizard in the kingdom. I'm sure he can teach me a thing or two."
"Really?" Odette asked innocently.
'Huh?' The duckling, who had been silently watching over the situation while nestling on top of Odette's head, finally spoke again. 'What is he talking about? He's Ymir's teacher!'
'Ah? His Majesty is Ymir's teacher?'
