The Masked Alpha glanced at the carriage door, and it opened by itself. Then, he stood up inside the carriage. He was so tall that his head almost hit the ceiling. "Let's go."
"Y-Your Majesty, I don't understand—WHA!" Odette was caught off guard when the Masked Alpha suddenly carried her in his arms and stepped out of the carriage.
He hovered slightly above the ground and slowly flew up to the top of the tower.
Odette was frozen in fear at first but soon settled because she didn't want to distract His Majesty, who was flying slowly.
This position reminded her of the time she met him for the first time.
He had killed a dark bear that wasn't far from her location and walked to her with a strong scent of blood and the head of a corrupted bear in his hand.
He tossed that bear's head before kneeling in front of her. He sniffed her around as if making sure that he got the correct woman, before suddenly picking her up and carrying her into his castle.
