As time passed by, the forest began to get darker.
This kingdom didn't have a proper day and night system, but it was obvious when the time was supposed to turn into 'night'.
Just like in the castle, Odette saw the purple sky turned deeper, and made it hard to see what was outside.
Odette wanted to close the window, thinking it might be dangerous, since she could barely see anything outside of the window right now.
However, the Masked Alpha suddenly stopped her, "Don't close the window. Your scent is still very strong."
"But, Your Majesty, it's too dark outside, and there might be some dangerous beasts lurking out there," Odette said. "The cat maids told me that the deep jungle in the kingdom is still dangerous because some animals have been corrupted, just like the dark beasts in the forbidden forest."
The Masked Alpha scoffed, "The most dangerous beast in this deep jungle is me if you don't keep those windows open."
