Rick's POV
I was more than excited as I sat on the plane. I had been waiting for this day for so long, and now it was finally here.
My heart was full of happiness and pride. I was about to seal the deal with Sterling Hospitals, a deal I had dreamed about for a long time.
I never thought this day would come so soon. I had hoped for it, prayed for it, and now the perfect chance was right in front of me.
I didn't know who the CEO was, and I had never met him before. But I had heard stories about him. People said he was like a superhero, and working with someone like that wouldn't just help my hospital, it would help me too.
A small smile appeared on my face.
But then something happened.
A thought I had tried so hard to push away came back again, no matter how much I wanted to forget it.
