Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

"Does this mean I would never be able to get a second chance mate?" Fiona panicked as her hand moved around the area where Kael marked her.

Her eyes began to sting as they started welling up in tears.

"You!" Ella barged into her room and grabbed her by the neck.

"How dare you!"

Fiona struggled to get free from her grip, but Ella maintained her tight grip with her hands.

Before she knew it, Ella had slapped her across the cheek.

"You fugitive whore" she exclaimed angrily.

"How dare you attempt to throw yourself at my mate. You even forced him to mark you. You're shameless." She raised her hand to slap Fiona.

However, her hand remained in mid air. Fiona held her hand and pushed it off.

"Don't even dare." Fiona thundered as she flung Ella's hand away.

Ella's eyes widened in shock as she looked at her. She was surprised that Fiona attempted to fight back. Fiona was also surprised at her actions. She didn't believe that she could stand up to Ella and she hoped silently that Ella shouldn't do anything worse or lay any allegations against her.

"You dare to push my hand away" Ella barked at her. "Don't you know that I am your Luna?"

Fiona simply ignored her and kept quiet. Then, she brought out a book and began reading, while acting like Ella wasn't standing there.

Ella felt infuriated by her actions. She wanted to grab the book from her and tear it into pieces. Fiona's actions were hurting her pride and Fiona knew what she was doing, she did it purposely.

"You may have taken my mate but you can't take my sense of reasoning" she scoffed inwardly and continued with the book which she was reading.

"How dare you!" Ella flung the book from her when she couldn't take it anymore. She raised her hand to hit Fiona once more but Fiona held her hand from reaching her.

Soon, footsteps began approaching and Fiona let go of Ella's hand. The both of them stood at a spot, saying nothing. However, as the footsteps came closer, Ella began wailing uncontrollably and causing a scene.

Ella leaned closer to the wall, grabbing her abdomen with tears in her eyes.

"You hit me." She shouted, while moving towards the ground to sit. Fiona looked at her in disbelief, knowing that she hadn't raised a finger.

"I'll leave you to continue your fake cry." Fiona hissed and turned her back from Ella, ready to leave the room.

A glass shattered close to her feet, some of its particles almost got to her face. She turned towards Ella who held another glass piece in her hand. Before Fiona could say anything, Ella threw the second vase at her. Fionawas startled by the flying object and had little time to dodge it. It ended up smashing across her face, close to her forehead.

"Are you crazy?" Fiona screamed as she wiped the blood from the shallow wound. Ella smiled lightly and moved closer to her with a piece of the shattered glass.

Fiona clenched her fists, trying to hold back the urge to fight. Ella brought the broken glass closer to her skin. It was almost piercing into Fiona's body.

For that moment, it felt like something had rooted Fiona to the spot. She struggled to move but something invisible held her down. It was only then that it occurred to her that Ella wasn't normal. There were some forces around her that Fiona couldn't explain.

Ella dug the shard deeper into her skin. Blood trickled down from the wound as she tortured her.

"Stop. What are you doing to me? Why can't I move?" Fiona managed to talk, despite feeling numb all over her body.

"This is how I'm going to kill you and every other member of your pack." Ella said with a chuckle.

She pulled out the shard from Fiona's skin and threw it on the floor. The force which she used to hold Fiona down was broken and Fiona collapsed on the ground. The cut was quite deep, and it healed slowly, causing more pain.

"If you want to kill him, then why should you be in a relationship with him?"

"Just get out of the way! I sacrificed a lot to be with him." Fiona said, almost raising her voice as she stated the obvious.

"How dare you shout at me?" Ella lifted her hand and slapped Fiona across the cheek. Fionaglimply moved her face to the other side, while feeling the burning impact of the slap.

Ella picked another glass shard and pointed it directly at Fiona. "Don't forget, you're now an omega and you have to obey my orders."

Just like before, she tried to pierce Fiona with the glass. This time, Fiona held her hand and pushed her away. She picked up one of the pieces of glass and threw it at Ella.

Ella fell to the ground and screamed. Her screams alerted the guards who were unaware of what was happening. Before the men arrived in the room, she picked up a few of the glass pieces and used it in making marks on her body.

"What happened, my Luna?" One of the guards who rushed into the room asked as he squatted by Ella's side.

Ella whimpered and allowed tears to fall from her eyes. She raised her hand shakily and pointed at Fiona.

"The omega, she hurt me." She lifted her bruised hand which gushed out fresh blood and showed it to the men who were with her.

Fiona rolled her eyes at her. She wasn't surprised by Ella's accusations.

"I didn't." She retorted, but the guards held her hand and handcuffed her in chains.

"Call the alpha." One of them informed the other who was with them. He left to call Kael.

As Kael entered the room, the first thing he caught sight of was Ella lying bruised on the floor.

"What happened baby?" He asked as he pulled her into his arms.

Ella leaned closer to him and cried loudly without responding to his question.

"The omega wounded her." One of the guards answered.

Kael turned towards Fiona who looked haggard.

"She's lying." Fiona whimpered as Kael moved closer to her.

"Silence!" Kaelcommanded as he grabbed Fiona and threw her roughly to the floor.

She fell flat on the ground and he raised his boot, using it to hit hard against her head.

Fiona whimpered in pain as she lay under Kael's feet.

"Prison wasn't enough for you, huh?" He scoffed as he lifted his leg from her head.

"Lock her up in the dungeon." He commanded the guards.

"What? No!" Fiona screamed as she struggled to get up from the floor, despite being bound in chains.

The guards wasted no time in moving closer to her and grabbing her roughly.

Kael abandoned her and rushed to his lover.

"How many marks did she leave on your beautiful skin?" He asked gently, kissing her softly on the cheeks.

Ella raised her sleeve, revealing the marks that she had carved on her own skin.

"More than 10 marks." Kael clenched his fists and turned towards the guards who were leading Fiona out of the room.

"Deal with that omega and don't leave her until she has more than ten scars on her body." He pulled Ella into a warm embrace.

Ella made eye contact with Fiona, a triumphant smile played on her face. And moving her lips without voicing out she said, "No one can save you."
