A mighty dragon emerged from the shade of the mountains, a savage brute that could command the armies of its kind. All Rein could see in the dragon's eyes was ancient wisdom unfathomable to any dragon he ever stood against. The battle raged in all brutality, with fire and steel seeming to go down in glory, for not even the mightiest could stop this titan of destruction.
But then something snapped in Rein when he delivered the slayer's blow. Dying echoes of the dragon whispered in his mind, seemingly saying, "War shall never end until you do your own inside."
The dragon fell, and the war ended. But Rein was left on the broken battleground. He had effectively felled the last dragon but realizing the entire time that he had slain a piece of himself in the process.
