Rein acted guilty, living each moment using magic as if it had become a curse rather than a gift. The price of using that power was all too real now, for the more one used it, the less human one felt. The once-clear thoughts were misled by anger and clouds of confusion.

No longer did Spirit's voice sound like a guiding voice; it sounded closer to the echo of one furious voice. "Go ahead, Rein, Dragons should fall. You cannot stop now."

Rein was becoming severed from his just convictions. His thirst for revenge had paved up all that was left of the track. He had forgotten the cause behind why he had walked this journey. For the greater good, or got nothing else to live for?
