Chapter 12 - You There? A Wild Ginseng Appears!

JACKPOT!

The group of farmers instantly felt like they had entered a Mythical Farmland.

They walked in, hugging each other and jumping about like little school girls.

Tell me, have you ever seen a single tomato the size of a basketball?

What about that watermelon over there? It was the size of 2 car wheels stacked on top of each other, and was also very sturdy too.

Now, let's not talk about ginseng—the King of Medicine—the one they call the elixir of life... Over there… yes, yes… over there! Are you blind? Can't you see they were pointing over there? Don't worry, you're seeing it right!

Over there was a gigantic Ginseng the size of a newly born baby.

Oh my Buddha!

They wanted to rush over and cradle it.

~Pah!

Frosh Shield had to slap himself in the face severally, feeling that his old body was now trapped in an incredulous dream.

Wipe! What did he just see?

Their 3 days of work had yielded a jungle out of the blue and you expect him not to have a heart attack when seeing it?

Slowly, everyone thought of the special fluid Gort had dumped and diluted into many large drums of water scattered about.

These drums were placed at an elevated level, connecting to various sprinkler systems that water the entire Greenhouse from top to bottom. From there, gravity did the rest.

Their task was to not just to plant, but to turn on the water systems at the appropriate times, leaving the waters for at least 30 minutes for each run before shutting it off.

"Miracle water…" Several blurted the words out.

Now, they looked to Gort with an unfathomable gaze filled with reverence too.

Bahahahhahahah~

They could see it now, all the money rolling in.

Chi-ching~

The sound of money rolling in, made everyone smile like he-goats.

Hey… Suddenly they felt it wasn't so bad for their children to follow Gort.

Now, they could raise their heads proudly and snap back at those who laughed at them for I vesting in Gort.

Initially, they only invested because their children pleaded with them to. But now, they regretted why they didn't buy more shares.

Park Fairbang was also dumbfounded by the results.

His son was just too awesome!

Seeing the results with his 2 eyeballs, Comrade Park felt the stone hanging in his heart fall.

"Good… good… You are indeed my Fairbang son!"

Gort chuckled, slowly taking off his gloves and leaving the scene with Katrina, Bunten and Bullen.

Now that the workers more or less understood how to properly cultivate their first batch of products, Gort decided to no longer spend most of his time here.

"Boss, is it finally time?"

"Yeah," Gort nodded slyly.

It was time to bring in the buyers, or else how would they be able to make a profit out of this?

The days came and went, but the excitement in the village never faded.

During this time, Gort had personally inspected several products, shocked by the taste and the benefits he felt right away.

Sure enough, the system's advanced technology was incredible.

Just one bit of the ginseng fruit and he felt his bones were stronger than before.

His 3 days of Ginseng cultivation could produce a Ginseng with far superior and strengthened attributes, as though it was a ginseng from a cultivation world.

According to the system, if he continues to explore and experiment, he might be able to grade ginseng that could manipulate Human genes and DNA, making them survive longer than the expected death age.

In fact, if someone continues eating the products they make, they should soon realize the changes and benefits from consuming his products.

As for making the villagers investors rich, he had no doubt that he would be able to do this in a week or 2.

The current market value of a catty (1.32 lbs) of tomato, is 3~5 Gwins.

But you see, their tomatoes are the size of basketballs and also weigh several catties.

So they might sell each tomato for 20~100 catties!

An interesting fact to know about their products was that even if you slice it open, it is estimated to remain intact for another 1 month before it starts showing signs of slow decay.

However, if you cut an ordinary tomato and leave it on a counter, in a matter of days, it rots.

Again, you can keep their tomatoes in a fridge for months and it will be good. The newly enhanced genes have barrier protection that comes into play once you slice any part of the tomato.

It's amazing that this barrier protection loosens when coming in context with a few unique enzymes on the tongues of several species including humans.

Know this…

The entire world will soon sink for 2,973 years before the waters start to reside.

The word 'start' should be emphasized.

It could take another 200 or 500 years after that for the waters to completely reside.

That being said, for at least 3500 years, humans will have to find a way to get quick vegetables and fruits to support their massive population.

Sorry, but they need technology that could make trees grow in a barely few days.

What about survival of the fittest when there's no food and everyone has to fight for their lives?

There are too many movies that depict the truth of humankind when backed into a corner, starved, thirsty and hungry.

Bottom line, fast food growth was vital for human survival in the long run!
