Chapter 10 - True Gold Will Shine

Already, many villagers were discussing with passion, now feeling a sense of belonging when seeing the company officially opening its doors for business. They were all ordinary farmers, so when seeing the company begin its operations, how could they not feel mighty?

Of course, some laughed and mocked, feeling it impossible for anyone to lead them all out of their current state.

What about his talk of magical products? Those big bosses in the city took years and time to make millions. And this boy dares to brag that he can do it in a matter of weeks?

IMPOSSIBLE!

Such a thing was hard for them to believe. The day he makes all his promises come true will be the day dog's learn how to use kitchen knives in a fight.

"Fine, you all don't want to listen to us? Then when your money's all gone, don't come crying to us!"

"That's right. Can you all use your brains for once? Just because we're farmers, does it mean we're so foolish and easy to lead by the nose? How can anyone make millions so easily?"

"Heh… they said they'll grow products that can rid fatigue, cure diseases, and make one stronger. Do you really believe this?"

Already, the seeds of doubt and regret had started entering the ears of those proud to be shareholders. Did they make a mistake in believing a genius who grew up with them over rationality?

If it was any other genius, they would never risk it. But Gort was a peculiar genius who never loses in whatever he puts his mind to.

However, when one takes a step back and truly listens to what he promises, doesn't it sound like something in some fantasy movie? Can Blue Star's current technology make such a thing possible?

Gort secretly watched the farce, taking note of these troublemakers.

Well, there were some people who always opposed his Fairbang Family. Some of these people just hate his father Park Fairbang, wishing they could be village chief instead. Others were just jealous of his family because of his excellence.

And now, because of their involvement, more people look at Gort uneasily.

"Little Gort… I … I know the time to withdraw or buy shares has passed, but I… I want to withdraw my shares now."

"Yeah, little Gort, can we withdraw now. I think what Old Jing says is right. How can there be any magical way to grow fruits so much that they cure illnesses from just one meal?"

"Yeah.. you know, that's my hard earned money at the end of the day. We are not talking of 10 Gwins or even 100 Gwins, but 1000 Gwins!"

Now, 11 or so people have stepped up to withdraw their shares.

Gort had a faint smile on his lips. "Uncles, aunts.. The deadline for withdrawals have passed. And as you all know, if you do withdrawals now, there will be a sanction fee attacked. So rather than returning your initial investments… you will receive 5% less than what you gave earlier."

"No problem!" Many voiced. "We know all this!"

Their initial investment was 1000 Gwins. In their hearts, they felt it was better to get back 950 Gwins than to get nothing in the end.

"Yeah… Little Gort, we are not saying you will fail, but what if it takes you 20 years to succeed?"

"That is? Are we going to wait until then? As farmers, we have better ways to use this money!"

Gort chuckled and said nothing, before taking his phone and transferring the money back into the accounts.

At the same time, their names were crossed off the list of shareholders.

Ding!~

All those who got their alerts smiled, somehow feeling relieved than before.

Hey, what's so good about being a shareholder with no money in your account?

Hmph!

Now that they thought of it, it was quite foolish to invest so much money into a company because of a little boy with the title of 'genius.'

Although they got their money, they still chose to hang around and watch others lose their money because of stupidity.

Taking several breaths, Gort was happy no one stepped forward anymore. At the same time, he added one final sentence. "Everyone, know that when the company starts making money, no more shares will be sold for the time being!"

Know that when they do start to sell shares, it won't be so easy anymore.

With the farce over, Gort didn't care much. After all, true gold will shine bright no matter what situation it's placed under.

"Everyone, soon, I will give you all a chance to see and taste for yourselves just how amazing fruits grown from our product can be. By then, my dear shareholders, you will have all the chances in the world to prove them wrong."

Several people's eyes burned with interest, now heavily affected by Gort's confidence. And what was that Comrade Park was carrying?

Was that the product?

Hold on? Why did it look like ordinary water in an ordinary square jug?

Pfft~

BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~

Many instantly broke out in laughter, while others felt their clothes grow damp with sweat.

Help… Is it too late to withdraw their investments?
