Waking up from his meditation, Seth gave Dayo a weird stare "Bond over what?" He asked.
"I don't know, let's talk about things other kids our age gossip about or something." seeing the way the three looked at him weirdly, he sighed "Okay let me begin. I have a problem with my seed unlike others who have awakened theirs I have not, mine seems to reject other foreign soul essences, and I already know how to awaken the seed it's just that the requirements seem impossible, I've been meaning to talk about it since but there has never been a better time than now, I just need advice on what to do".
By the time he finished speaking, the teenager looked depressed.
Feeling sorry for him Seth inquired "What is the requirement?".
Shaking his head in depression he replied "Actually my seed is called records of folklores, and in other to awaken it I need the blood of a mythical being of my ancestral folklore, unlike my twin sister whose requirement was pretty easy, I was the unlucky one"
Looking at Dayo weirdly Valesco asked, "Wait you have a twin?"
Glaring at him in annoyance Dayo hissed "Of course I have a twin, isn't it obvious? She is the Captain of Class A"
Pausing for a second then with an unsightly expression he glared at his two old roommates "Wait don't tell me you guys never noticed".
Immediately Gerald and Valesco avoided his gaze in embarrassment, "Seriously? Purple hair! Similar iris! And the FREAKING SAME SKIN COLOR!" The more he spoke the more annoyed he got. But seriously who could miss such obvious clues?
"Wait this sister of yours what's her seed?" curious Seth asked.
"she awakened the voodoo priestess staff, granting her access to ancient magic" Dayo replied his tone filled with envy.
Then noticing something, he looked at Seth and noticed the weird gaze Seth was directing at him.
Creasing his brows he asked "What?".
"Seriously bro are you retarded?" Seth replied with a question.
Dayo Frowned at his response "What do you mean?"
Shaking his head Seth sighed at how Dayo could miss such a glaring clue, "Bro I don't know much about your ancestry history, but isn't a voodoo priestess supposed to be a mythical being or something?"
And then it clicked, Dayo bushed in shame, to think he could miss such a glaring detail, the key to his awakening was in front of him the whole time but he was too blind to see.
"Cough! Excuse me guys, I'll be stepping out for a bit" Still embarrassed Dayo quickly ran out of the class, obviously running to go find his sister.
The remaining trio just gazed at each other and then burst out laughing.
Shaking his head Seth went back to meditating
And just like that time passed, and little by Little people started arriving, they weren't alone anymore.
Dong!
And about forty minutes later a loud sound reverberated through the school signaling that it was time for breakfast.
Seth got up and followed the other two, towards the cafeteria. There still wasn't any sign of Dayo.
Reaching the cafeteria they went towards the D class section and they had only a few options on the menu, so Seth just chose some bean pudding and picked an empty table, the other two accompanied him in silence.
Well, that was until the rowdy cafeteria suddenly became silent looking up Seth saw the two figures that were responsible for the silence.
One was a lady the other was a guy.
The lady had golden blonde hair with emerald green eyes, she was astoundingly beautiful, she wore a skin-tight jumper with a regular t-shirt, and her attire clung to her body showcasing her well-developed curves as they could only be described as bountiful giving a seductive aura to her, as she walked her hips swayed majestically, no one could understand why there was silence.
All the young guys in the room had their eyes on her, some even drooling, as to who this lady was. Well, she was the number one of their generation the great genius Dione Mane.
As for the man beside her, he a strikingly similar features to Valesco, from his long black hair to his red velvet eyes, and similar to Valesco, but unlike the pretty boy this man had a certain icy aria to him giving him the feeling of an ice prince, he also had something on his back, nine swords were sitting majestically in their sheaths upon his back, giving him a divine like presence as though he was the king of swords.
Seth didn't need to ask he could already guess that the two were related, this sparked his curiosity, but he suppressed it when he noticed the two were walking towards him.
Stopping right in from of their table, Dione broke the silence "Are you Seth Bane the son of Maya Bane?" she asked with a stoic expression while staring at Seth.
Seeing that she was speaking to him he nodded albeit faintly.
Examining him briefly she shook her head in disappointment "Your not as impressive as I assumed" Pausing for a bit, her facial features then turned ice cold, then she continued "Better be sure not to shame your mother she is my mentor and I won't let you leave a stain on her honor." After saying her piece she turned around and walked away not even bothering to wait for a reply.
The man beside her gazed at Seth briefly, then turned to look at Valesco who was still busy eating not even acknowledging the presence of the two, his icy expression cracked as his eyes dropped faintly as he whispered "Nice to see you, brother"
Seeing that he wasn't getting any response from Valesco, he shook his head faintly then he walked away following closely behind Dione.
It wasn't till they left the room did the atmosphere in the cafeteria returned to normal, and the students burst into a chatter, some of them gazed at Seth with interest as they whispered among themselves.
Meanwhile, Seth was confused, 'what just happened?' he wondered, did he just meet the legendary Dione? But it seems she didn't have a good opinion of him.
Raising a brow in surprise Seth thought to himself 'It seems I have been underestimated' Grinning inwardly 'don't worry, you should keep the chair o
f number one warm for me, 'cause I'll be coming to claim it very soon…'
