Chapter 12 - Chapter 007: Take Action Instead of Quarreling!

"Yi Luowa, take a look at what Third Master just posted on Weibo," Yuan Hang walked in, phone in hand, looking excited.

"Not interested. All he ever posts are tabloid stuff, what serious business could he have?" Tong Airui looked disgusted.

"What if there's a goddess like Westa in it? You still wouldn't look?" Yuan Hang waved his phone in front of Tong Airui's face.

"His feed is just a collection of plastic goddesses." Tong Airui closed his eyes in boredom.

"This one's absolutely natural, and it's the one you've been dreaming about day and night," Yuan Hang teased. "The moment she strapped on her Wind Fire Wheel, she sped off to the capital!"

Tong Airui opened his eyes and glanced at the phone screen. The next second, his squinted eyes widened instantly, "That little brat!"

"I knew you'd be interested," Yuan Hang handed over the phone to him, smirking as he sank into the couch and began peeling an apple.

"Weren't fans only supposed to take one photo each during the event? How did the two of them manage to take so many?" Tong Airui kept scrolling furiously through the screen, which was full of photos of that little brat with Mi Chenshuo. Pouting faces, peace signs, squinting eyes, scrunched noses—every pose synchronized perfectly between the two of them.

"If Third Master is happy, taking a hundred photos is entirely possible," Yuan Hang chuckled, slicing the apple into halves. Just as he was about to hand a piece to Tong Airui, he saw him post a vomit emoji under the Weibo post. Yuan Hang grabbed the phone away in a panic, "Don't be like this! This is posted from *my* Weibo account—if you leave that up, I'll be drowned in Third Master's fans' spit later!"

"Drown then! If you dare delete it, I'll throw you into the ocean. That'd be a quicker death anyway," Tong Airui retorted, glaring coldly at Yuan Hang.

Yuan Hang's finger trembled as it hovered over the delete button. He looked up to see Tong Airui smiling mischievously at him. With a resigned sigh, he took a big bite of the apple before reluctantly handing it to Tong Airui, "Here, happy now?"

Tong Airui laughed as he saw both pieces had been bitten into, took one, and promptly threw it at Yuan Hang's head, "What, lying down in front of me makes you think you're invincible now?"

Yuan Hang dodged deftly to the side, rolling up his sleeves with a cold smile, "Strike while the enemy's weak, huh? You thought of how you want to die?"

"Got no clue how I'm going yet, but I've decided on yours," Tong Airui smirked devilishly.

"Alright, Fourth Master, how do you plan on doing me in then?" Yuan Hang grinned.

Tong Airui raised his brows slightly, "I'll hire a hundred cross-dressers to drain you dry!"

"Can't we make them regular instead of cross-dressers?"

"Not a chance!" Tong Airui extended a hand, "Give me your phone, then get out!"

"Sir, don't wreck my phone again, please," Yuan Hang looked pitiful with a grimace, reluctantly handing over his phone before making his way out the door.

"Step at least ten paces away from the door!" Tong Airui shouted after him, listening carefully once the noise outside faded before dialing a string of numbers.

"Hello," the sugary voice was so sweet it tickled the bone. Tong Airui suspiciously glanced at the screen; the number was correct, but why did it sound like a completely different person on the line?

"Is this Ms. Yi Luowa?" Tong Airui deliberately altered his voice.

"Yes, may I ask who this is?" The voice was still as melodiously charming as ever.

Tong Airui's lips twitched—this little brat could really put on an act!

"Good day, Ms. Yi. I'm an aftersales representative from Zhuoyuan Company. The phone you purchased has been randomly selected as a lucky user. In addition to lifetime warranty service, we will also send you a surprise on your birthday. May I ask if there is anything you particularly dislike? That way we can make sure to accommodate when choosing the gift."

"Such generosity! I have no dislikes," Yi Luowa replied while furrowing her brows in the car. When did her luck start turning around? After snapping so many photos with a celebrity, now she was getting a call from Zhuoyuan?

Tong Airui felt a twinge of disappointment—if there were no dislikes, how could he mess with her? "Alright, could you provide the address to send the gift?"

"Sorry, I'm a wanderer; there's no need for a gift. Goodbye." Yi Luowa pouted and hung up.

"Sis, why didn't you take the gift?" Yi Shaoqing asked puzzled from the side.

"It's probably a scam; no need to pay attention to them." Yi Luowa picked up her phone, staring happily at the protective cover decorated with her and Mi Chenshuo's photo, "This guy's actually presentable. Next time anyone tries to bother me, I'll show them this and make them back off automatically."

"You want to use Mi Chenshuo as your guardian spirit?" Yi Shaoqing leaned over to check. "Sis, do you have a lot of guys chasing after you?"

"Not really," Yi Luowa glanced at the house ahead. "We're home. At least I managed to bring you back safely."

"I was never scared in the first place." Yi Shaoqing shrugged indifferently.

The siblings got out of the car, and Yi Weibang, who had been standing at the doorway, let out a long breath.

"You're back," Yi Weibang looked his son over from head to toe.

Yi Shaoqing simply responded with a curt "Hmm," showing little appreciation as he pulled Yi Luowa into the living room.

Yi Lingfei saw them enter and tossed her phone onto the coffee table with a loud "thud," snarling, "You shameless sweeping star!"

"Who are you talking about?!" Yi Shaoqing pointed at Yi Lingfei's nose, shouting in anger.

Yi Lingfei shot to her feet, "Yi Shaoqing, don't you forget—I'm your real sister! I've been there for you your whole life! And her? Do you know who she really is? She's the sweeping star who killed Grandpa and Uncle, turned Second Uncle into a cripple, and left Dad with steel plates in his body—it's all her fault!"

"Mom said that wasn't Sister's fault!" Yi Shaoqing shouted even louder, his voice drowning out Yi Lingfei's.

"What Mom says is all lies!" Yi Lingfei stormed toward Yi Luowa, who had remained silent all this time, and jabbed a finger against her nose, yelling, "Sweeping star! Tell us, did you come back this time to curse our family to death so you can inherit everything as the sole heir of the Yi family?"

Yi Luowa lowered her gaze to the finger pointing at her face, a light smirk on her lips. "Yes."

"Dad, Shaoqing, you heard that, right? She finally admitted her true intentions… Ah—!"

Yi Lingfei's scream echoed throughout the villa.

The second daughter's finger had been bent backward nearly 90 degrees by the eldest daughter. Yi Weibang finally couldn't hold back and roared, "Yi Luowa, let go of Lingfei!"

Yi Luowa cast a cold glance at her father, "What right do you have to order me?"

"I'm your father!" Yi Weibang's face turned crimson as he bellowed.

"Father?" Yi Luowa sneered, her hands tightening as she bent Yi Lingfei's finger further back.

Yi Lingfei was on the verge of fainting, crying out, "Dad, save me! My finger's going to snap!"

With a resounding "slap," Yi Weibang struck Yi Luowa across the face. "Let go!"

Yi Luowa's head tilted slightly from the impact. She glared coldly at Yi Weibang, then retaliated by slapping Yi Lingfei twice across the face. "Come on, try hitting me again!"
