As soon as Yi Luowa finished speaking, the elevator doors opened again, and over ten men in suits stepped out.
Yi Luowa looked over, and a middle-aged man at the front quickly walked over, "Luowa, are you alright?"
"Uncle Li, I'm fine." Yi Luowa's eyes blinked slightly red, but she quickly returned to normal, "Uncle Li, since you're here, can you help me with some things?"
"Sure, go ahead." Uncle Li took the paper and pen handed over by his subordinate, ready to take notes.
"First, have Ao Lie taken to the operating room to continue the surgery."
Uncle Li looked up at Ao Lie, who lifted his hand slightly, "Since you're here, I'm relieved. I'll go in by myself."
Seeing Ao Lie obediently enter the room, Yi Luowa raised her eyebrows slightly, then turned to Uncle Li, "My second uncle is still in surgery, and I don't know how he'll be. Please call Uncle Huang and let him fully handle all affairs over in country F. During my second uncle's recuperation, any significant decisions require both your and Uncle Huang's signatures to be valid."
"Alright." Uncle Li quickly noted it down.
"Also, send someone to investigate the cause of the car accident." Yi Luowa did not delve into the accident, but Xi Meichen's face changed slightly. Fortunately, no one was paying attention to her now; everyone was listening as this nineteen-year-old girl calmly arranged the aftermath.
"Alright." Although Uncle Li was over forty, everyone could see that he had great respect for Luowa.
"Uncle Li, help me find out the address of that gentleman, so we can visit and thank him later." Yi Luowa said as she looked at Mi Chenxuan.
Mi Chenxuan was also looking at her at this moment. The moment this young girl came out of the operating room, she was stunning to him, but now, she was more astonishing. Her calm composure was entirely unlike someone who had just narrowly escaped death.
Uncle Li glanced at Mi Chenxuan, nodded politely, and was about to speak when Mi Chenxuan quickly raised his hand to stop him, "I was asked by someone; there's no need to be so courteous with me."
Uncle Li smiled politely, "Could you tell me who asked you?"
"Let him say it himself." Mi Chenxuan pressed the recording button on his phone. He wanted to give Fourth Brother an explanation. When Yi Luowa came out, he had secretly recorded for a while and only just remembered he hadn't stopped recording.
"Luowa, go back to the ward first." Xi Meichen, with tears in her eyes, quickly walked over.
"Where... where is my dad? I want to see him." Yi Lingfei had shouted so loudly just now that she had heard it. Yi Lingfei said Dad was gone, but she didn't believe it. She managed to survive, so the people in the car must be fine too!
"Sweeping star, how dare you go see my dad? You cursed him to death! I won't let you look at him for even a second!" Although Yi Lingfei was blocked from walking over, she could still shout, pointing at Yi Luowa and cursing.
Yi Luowa's hand was tightly clenched as she looked coldly at Yi Lingfei and said in a deep voice, "Uncle Li, I don't have a father, so this person has no relation to me!"
Uncle Li understood, and with a wave of his hand, a few people came up, dragging Yi Lingfei and stuffing her into the elevator.
Uncle Li walked towards Xi Meichen, speaking very politely, "Madam Xi, Second Master is here with me, and you need to take care of First Master."
Xi Meichen squinted at Uncle Li, "My daughter is still here."
"Your daughter is indeed here, and you can see her whenever you wish, but as for First Master, you're running out of chances."
"Li Hua, don't go too far!" Xi Meichen yelled.
"Please don't speak so loudly, my second uncle is still undergoing surgery. Please leave!" Yi Luowa's tone was pleading, but her eyes were filled with disdain. This woman was clearly her mother, but she felt nothing. She didn't even want to see her right now.
Xi Meichen frowned slightly, stepped into the elevator in her high heels.
With her head down, Yi Luowa listened to the sound of footsteps fading away. When the corridor was quiet again, she slowly turned to look at Mi Chenxuan.
Mi Chenxuan quickly stood up, "Well, I'm leaving."
"Thank you." Yi Luowa nodded gratefully, watching as he and his people entered the stairwell.
"Uncle Li—" As she called out, Yi Luowa's eyes were filled with tears.
"Luowa, there's no one else here, you can cry if you want." Li Hua walked over and hugged Yi Luowa tightly.
Yi Luowa, like a helpless child, buried her head in Uncle Li's arms, crying suppressively, "Waa… I killed my dad, and my second uncle, I hurt the only family I have… If something happens to my second uncle, I don't want to live either."
"Your second uncle is a strong man; King Yan won't take him easily. Luowa, listen to Uncle Li, first focus on getting better yourself. You need to be well to take care of your second uncle."
Sniffling, Yi Luowa looked up at Uncle Li, "My second uncle really won't leave me, right?"
"He won't. You are the most important person in his life; he can't bear to leave you."
Yi Luowa lifted her hand, using the large sleeve of her hospital gown to wipe the tears from her face, "You said it, if anything happens to my second uncle, I will take your little Tiger brother and jump into a well."
"You cheeky girl!" Li Hua affectionately and gently tapped her on the forehead, "Besides the wound on your head, did you hurt anywhere else?"
"My leg, luckily no fractures, just needed ten stitches." Yi Luowa glanced at her leg, "Uncle Li, have someone keep an eye on their family. If they're not in the hospital, you'll take me to see him… after all, he is my dad, and I want to see him one last time."
"I'll arrange that for you. Luowa, regardless of whether you like to hear it or not, I have to tell you, going to see your dad is the right thing to do, but as for your mother, it's best if you keep your distance from her."
"Uncle Li, do you know something?" Yi Luowa suddenly looked up at Uncle Li.
Uncle Li shook his head, using his eyes to signal that this was not the best place to talk.
Yi Luowa pouted, reaching over to take the handkerchief from his suit pocket, blowing her nose with effort, then looking up at Uncle Li, "Should I give the handkerchief back to you?"
"Naughty girl!" Li Hua laughed, throwing the handkerchief into the trash bin.
Mi Chenxuan, hiding in the stairwell, nearly burst out laughing, "This little girl is quite something, so serious one moment, then so mischievous the next."
Mi Qiuhong nodded, "It seems this Uncle Li is the one she's closer to, and now that her family is here, we can report back to Fourth Master."
"Let me watch a bit longer, it's quite interesting." Mi Chenxuan peered through the crack of the door, watching the people in the hallway.
"Don't make Fourth Master wait too long. He rarely gives you an assignment…"
"Alright, alright! Annoying." Mi Chenxuan grumbled as he took out his phone and walked downstairs.
On Laiwang Island, having watched the video sent by Mi Chenxuan, Tong Airui said in a deep voice, "Yuan Hang, let's go to the capital."
"You're in this state, why not recover well first before going back?" Yuan Hang was immediately reluctant.
"To go and see the spectacle." Tong Airui's lips curled into a wicked smile.
