[ Chapter XXV (25): "IN A WEEK, THE SCHOOL YEAR WILL OFFICIALLY START" ]

In the span of a week Felix has become rich due to his one and only student at the moment, studying. Diligently at that, without pausing; which in turn made Felix's gloomy mood turn bright.
The doubts in his head if ever he would get his money back, disappeared. As in a week he easily earned a whopping 723.3 Points... A little more and it would be enough for him to buy the Hogwarts Express! THE Hogwarts Express.
But he stopped himself from impulsively buying that, at the very least he would do it when dearly needed. A week before the school year starts.
He held onto the money, as assurance if for some reason John wouldn't earn him money anymore... Which seemingly was true, as there is a cap for each and every single student there is, varying with the grade.
He doesn't know about the other grades, but for Rare it is 2,000 Points. But it'll reset when the school year starts, then 3 months after the school year starts. So for the span of 9 months, students in the rare category would give him 6,000 Points...That'll be for a single school-year, and there are 7 school years for students before graduating.
Multiply 6,000 to 7 and you'll get 42,000 Points! For a single student...! Plus 3,000 more each year, if in the vacation it also resets. Then that means...
He is rich, undeniably so... He knew it, being the Headmaster of Hogwarts and Professor in it was the best choice.
He never even doubted his choice for a single moment, never!
About 3 weeks had passed since John Constantine entered Hogwarts, and the total amount he gave capped out in the 1,713.3 Points. More than enough for him to buy the legendary Hogwarts Express, twice! And he'll have a few hundred more to spare...
What a gift!
That is to say he didn't spent some though... He did bought his student, John, a wand... Proper wand this time which confused the latter. After scanning the boy, the System deemed that the most fitting wand for him is the Yew-Thestral Tail Hair combo... Which cost extra and is 10 Points, customization apparently cost more.
He then gave the boy other objects, like a heavily enchanted robe and hat. Potions ingredient, alchemy products, and even a self-writing Quill that is connected to the boy's thoughts which he loved.
Felix felt kinda guilty when he noticed the boy's indebted gaze... Hopefully he doesn't know that those items were created using Points that he generated, less than a quarter really because Felix hoarded most of it all for himself.
He decided that smiling and remaining silent would be the best option here... And yeah, hopefully that works.
In earning that many points from a single student, Felix thought of grabbing a few more. Perhaps those that is eager, like the... Was it the Blake Family...? Black...? No, no wait, they we're called Baker...
Yes, like the first-son of the Baker Family, Bernhardt "Buddy" Baker. He thought of kidnapping the kid, but didn't have the guts of doing that, in fear that the kid's family would follow suit and never leave the wizarding world.
He know how they looked at anything magic, even the daughter. He is scared of them. So he decided not to do that and instead visited the boy in-between him visiting the other families...
He gave the boy a bland wand, and the System deemed the boy as Uncommon. He doesn't know if that's a grade, or two below Rare, but nonetheless he left more books.
To the joy of the family, then he left. Telling the boy to study more about magic... And even before he could Apparate out of there and visit the previous families he have visited, do the same operations for...
Of course, free Points before the school year starts i.e. before the reset. He noticed the System already giving him Points from Buddy practicing magic...
He visited about a dozen family after that, gave them the same treatment, then leaving... He then continued his house visit for the other families that had received their son's or daughter's Hogwarts Letter, and answered questions...
Some of the families refused to sent their kids to a mysterious school. In which he accepted with difficulty. He still tried to give their children a bland wand, or even books...
But the System seemingly didn't register the children as students... And even no matter what they do, they couldn't cast a spell, or do anything magical...
It was almost like there was a requirement to do magic, the first is being a student or faculty, the second is optional and that is via wand...
Huh... So confused, Felix tried explaining to the parents everything, even to the children... But to most, it didn't worked. Thankfully to those that accepted after, magic worked, and they are now harvesting Points for him at the moment.
So with joy, and brisk in his steps. Felix endured the nauseous feeling of Apparation and eagerly preached and recruited students left-and-right to his school.
All the way from Asian Countries, to the African Continent, to European Countries, to some unnamed Countries he has heard of, but never really had that deep of connection with...
Nonetheless, thankfully-thankfully. With the help of the Hogwarts Letter which explained most of what'll happen, assurance to the parents, childrens safety and such... About 127 Student including John, would enter Hogwarts starting from next month...
This is a great thing... A good thing. Though he is still waiting for some to reply back, and for the other families that outright rejected his offer. He is still waiting.
And he hopes that number would increase rather than decrease.
It had been 3 weeks, and the dark circles under his eyes are most evident to him... Thankfully he brewed some Energizing Potion on the way that gave him physical energy, not spiritual though. But at least it's something.
He isn't bragging or anything. But Felix is rich... Bloody so. At the moment his wallet is telling him that he has... [ WALLET: 3,725.7 POINTS ] Which is earned easily by children...
Child labor is truly the best!
But not that kind of labor you're thinking about. Instead the type of labor that benefits both parties. The new type of children labor, the school type wherein they learn about magic and he'll receive Points from the machine gods that operates the so-called System.
A win-win-win!
Felix doesn't know if he broke the System... Or if the System is just showing the wrong numbers to him at the moment.. But he still didn't want to spend it now, in fear that it might not work out...
In fear that it's just illusionary, and in-between him purchasing the Hogwarts Express. That the System would say, Insufficient Points... That is scary, because it means he wouldn't be able to buy Brooms for the children, or even a proper wand, a proper robe for example.
So in fear he didn't spend a single Point after buying things for John. That king being his favorite student amongst the other student he got along with...
Amongst the students he also tutored in-between his visits from families. Noteworthy are some due to their abilities to grasp the concept easily, or them not easily grasping the concept...
The ones belonging to the former include Bernhardt "Buddy" Baker that loves learning, Katherine Kane that easily accepted everything.
Kiran Singh that systematically devoured knowledge from him, Sojourner "Jo" Mullein that is creative in her ways of spellcasting; to the point that even Felix didn't thought of doing.
And lastly enough, a child named Zou Kang that just practices day-in, day-night in finding about his affinity with magic. Not as gifted as the others, but unparalleled in his will of wanting to study... Even surpassing his favorite student, John.
To say that he have big hopes for this childrens future would be an understatement. He bet big on these children, and could even say that they are something else... Yeah.
All of them other than Zou Kang are in the Uncommon grade, with the latter being on the Common grade which all the students had except for John...
Felix not knowing what to do next just sits there in his chair, having already visited all the families he needed to visit, his study session with John happening 3 days later with the kid being handled by Flitwick today, Sprout tomorrow, and McGonagall the day after.
So he just sits there, staring at his wallet that is increasing by the seconds... Not knowing what exactly he should do, but at the very least he knows what he needs to do...
If those Points aren't illusionary, then that means he just needs to spend it. Invest on the faculty of the school which is lacking... Lacking in brooms, lacking in Sorting Hat, lacking in proper Common Rooms, lacking in Pets, lacking in Hogwarts Express, lacking in...
The list goes on and on... So with a sight, Felix decided that he'll spend most of the Points he accumulated from the children, to invest back on the children...
But not all, in fear that he might not get another opportunity like this again, and live for another half a year like a poor ghost... Something he doesn't want to experience again.
