After spending a quiet night in their tree, Team E successfully survived their first night in the forest. However, rest was not an option yet, as they still needed to find a metal piece with the correct number to proceed to the next trial. Zato, Iwame, and Okura set out once again, searching the forest for their needed number, knowing that they could potentially cross paths with another team. If that happened, they would either fight or hide, depending on whether the other team had spotted them. Fighting, however, seemed more profitable, as winning could yield great rewards.
Several hours passed.
Team E had been searching the forest for a long time. The dense trees made moving and searching difficult, but this also worked in their favor, helping them avoid detection. Their plan was to move quietly through the forest, hoping to find another team. If they did, they could launch a surprise attack, which would increase their chances of winning. After all, defeating a team would give them a significant number of pieces of metal, and the more they collected, the higher the chance of finding the one they needed.
The strategy was sound. The only challenge was locating another team, but after several more hours of searching, they found signs of human activity. After a brief discussion, they decided to follow the trail. They moved through the thick forest until they came upon a small lake, with a campfire nearby. They knew it was another team's camp, so they quickly hid and waited for the other team to return.
Zato, Iwame, and Okura waited quietly for several hours. As the sun began to set and the sky darkened, they heard voices in the distance. The three of them froze, holding their breath as the sounds grew louder. After what seemed like an eternity, they finally saw the other team—a Konoha squad. It was made up of two males and one female, and they appeared exhausted, likely having spent the day searching for metal pieces.
The Konoha squad, clearly worn out, seemed like the perfect target for a surprise attack.
The Konoha genin were starting to relax when suddenly, several kunai flew toward them. The genin quickly grabbed their own weapons to defend themselves, but they soon realized that some of the kunai had explosive tags attached to them. The two boys blocked the kunai that didn't have explosive tags, but it wasn't fast enough. Some of the kunai exploded close to them, sending them flying backward.
The girl in the group managed to dodge the explosion, using her speed to evade the blast. Unfortunately, the two boys weren't as fortunate. They took the brunt of the explosion, and it was clear that they were injured, with blood staining their clothes.
Team E moved quickly from their hiding place to confront them. Zato was the first to act. He performed several hand signs and slammed his palm onto the ground, summoning a 3-meter-tall wave of water that surged toward the Konoha genin.
The female Konoha genin reacted swiftly, performing her own set of hand signs. She launched a medium-sized fireball directly into the wave of water.
When the two jutsu collided, they neutralized each other in a massive explosion of steam, which enveloped the area in thick mist. The genin from both teams paused for a brief moment to adapt to the mist, but the two injured genin from Konoha quickly regained their footing and readied themselves for the next round.
Zato and his teammates decided to wait until the mist cleared. However, they didn't expect to be attacked so soon.
A massive fireball, enhanced by wind jutsu, shot toward them at high speed. It was too large and fast to avoid, and Team E had little time to react. Zato quickly drew from the nearby lake, creating a 4-meter-tall wave of water to block the fireball. But the water alone wasn't enough to stop the powerful attack. To support him, Iwame used his Earth Release to create a large dome of rock, hoping to shield his teammates from the incoming fire.
The wave of water evaporated almost immediately upon contact with the fireball, and the fireball crashed into the rock dome. Small fissures quickly formed, and the dome began to crumble. Fortunately, the fireball's force dissipated before the dome was completely destroyed. The team had successfully blocked the attack, but they weren't safe yet.
Zato, Iwame, and Okura quickly leaped toward their opponents.
Okura charged at the Konoha female genin, quickly closing the distance between them.
The Konoha girl reacted by throwing a few shuriken, but Okura easily dodged them. The girl then drew a kunai and prepared to engage.
Okura attempted to flank the enemy by jumping to the side, but the Konoha genin was fast and blocked her attack with a kunai. What followed was an intense exchange of kunai and taijutsu, the two girls battling fiercely for the upper hand. After several minutes of fighting, the Konoha genin started to gain the advantage, slowly overpowering Okura.

here some things to read ( from wiki )
Ninjutsu Ninja Techniques is one of the three main jutsu categories. Ninjutsu is the most nebulous of the three, and may most simply be described as anything that is not genjutsu or taijutsu. Most ninjutsu require chakra and hand seals, but this is not always the case since the mere usage of weaponry qualifies as ninjutsu.
Genjutsu
Illusionary Techniques is one of the main jutsu categories which uses chakra. Unlike ninjutsu, the effects of genjutsu are not real, being only sensory illusions experienced by those who fall victim to it. According to the Second Mizukage, genjutsu falls under the broad category of Yin Release.[1]
Taijutsu
Body Techniques is a basic form of techniques and refers to any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimisation of natural human abilities. Taijutsu is executed by directly accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training. It typically does not require chakra, though chakra may be used to enhance its techniques. Taijutsu generally requires no hand seals to perform, occasionally making use of certain stances or poses, and are far quicker to use than ninjutsu or genjutsu. Taijutsu is, simply put, hand-to-hand combat.
