Chapter 5 - I’ll Let Everyone Know You’re Mine

Everything started as innocent as usual.

Or at least, innocent according to Misa's definition, which usually involved jumping on me, licking me, and biting me in a way that would make any onlooker immediately call emergency services.

I was sitting, trying to review my school project papers, when I felt something heavy drop onto my back.

"Misa..."

I sighed, without even needing to look.

I had become able to recognize the way she landed even without opening my eyes.

"My master is too busy for me..."

She said with a whiny tone, as she slithered over me like a small snake.

"I'm a little busy. School project, remember?"

I tried to sound serious.

But who was I kidding?

Misa didn't care.

Instead, she made a move that froze my blood in my veins:

She sat right on my back… then leaned forward and began to play with her teeth on my neck.

"I'm marking you..."

She whispered mischievously.

Then she bit gently, leaving a slight mark on my skin.

I gasped.

"M-Misa! Don't play with your teeth there!!"

But she only laughed — a small, warm, deadly laugh.

Then she continued, moving from my neck to my ear, and from my ear to my shoulder.

Every time she bit me, she whispered:

"Here... mine."

"And here..."

"This too..."

"No one touches this but me..."

I was dying... but not from physical pain.

I was dying from embarrassment, confusion, and an internal explosion of all the strange sensations flooding me.

"Misa... stop! I'm a human! Not a piece of furniture to train on!"

I shouted, almost crying.

But the response?

She pulled me tighter against her, her arms tightening dangerously around my neck.

"You're more precious than furniture..."

She said in a warm tone.

Then she brought her lips close to my ear and added:

"You're my treasure. And I'll make everyone know that."

Suddenly, I felt her tongue trace the small bite mark... as if she was sealing it.

(Status report: Melting myself - 95%. Risk of fainting - high.)

Finally, Misa sat in front of me, satisfied with herself, rubbing her head like a cat after a successful battle.

Meanwhile, I... was just trying not to turn into a pile of accumulated embarrassment.

And as I tried to gather the remains of my dignity...

Misa smiled at me with a devilish grin and said:

"My master... I have other ideas too, if you want more marks."

I swallowed loudly.

In that moment, I realized I was playing a game I never even agreed to participate in.

A game where the only loser...

was me.
