Before going to find Banner, Yuma decided to visit Peter first. Banner wasn't going to run away, but Peter was a different story. If he stood him up this time, he didn't know how many "toys" he'd have to pay him back with.
It was already evening when he left Ben's house. Yuma hailed a taxi and headed towards Banner's hiding place.
Before reaching the location, Yuma got out of the car. The area was desolate, with abandoned houses and factories scattered everywhere. Yuma was afraid that the sound of the car driving in would alert Banner and cause him to flee.
After all, he had just been exposed, and people were searching for him everywhere. Any disturbance would scare him away.
Yuma got out of the car and walked along the dark road. The address showed that Bruce Banner was currently hiding in an abandoned factory within a kilometer ahead.
The area around the factory was eerily quiet, not a sound to be heard. Yuma looked up at the two-story factory in front of him. Luckily, the glass and windows were heavily damaged, so he could sneak in without making a sound.
After entering the factory, Yuma carefully sensed with his spiritual pressure and quickly found Banner's location. He was on the first floor, near a corner.
Stealthily approaching, Yuma found Banner as expected. He was huddled in the corner of the security room, holding a pistol, the barrel pointed in his mouth, ready to pull the trigger with a look of determination!
"Bakudō #1, Sai!"
"Bakudō #4, Tsumite!"
Without hesitation, Yuma immediately released Bakudō, first controlling Banner's hands and feet, then tying him up.
Yuma wasn't worried that Banner would die from suicide. He was worried that if Banner committed suicide, Hulk would definitely show up, and he would be facing an enraged Green Giant!
"Who are you? Did General Ross send you to capture me?" Banner asked, looking at Yuma who had just entered the room, completely ignoring the restraints on him.
"Don't get me wrong, I have nothing to do with them," Yuma quickly waved his hand. "The reason I tied you up is simply because I don't want Hulk to come out."
"What is this, magic?" Banner gestured towards the restraints on him. "This stuff probably won't hold me."
"Don't get excited, it's just a little trick," Yuma reassured Banner. "I have no ill intentions. I came to talk to you about something."
"Oh? What do you want to talk about?" Banner sneered. "Are you talking about how to use Hulk to do your bidding? Or how to get the formula for turning into Hulk?"
Yuma snapped his fingers, dispelling the restraints on Banner, then said, "Dr. Banner, I think you may have misunderstood. My purpose is different from General Ross's. I'm here for another reason."
Yuma organized his thoughts and continued, "Dr. Banner, do you remember Emil Blonsky?"
"The guy General Ross sent to capture me in Brazil last time?" Banner thought for a moment and replied. "What about him?"
"Yes, it's him," Yuma nodded. "He participated in General Ross's super-soldier transformation experiment. He received the same dose of gamma radiation that you did when you turned into Hulk, and then he got the super-soldier serum. As a result, he was permanently transformed into a huge, yellowish-skinned monster."
"Now, he's looking for you. He's much stronger than you when you're not angry!"
"Tell me your conditions," Banner said after a moment of silence. "I don't think you came here just to tell me this."
"My condition is that I hope to work with you to defeat, or rather, kill him," Yuma paused before continuing. "I belong to an organization called Las Noches. Our purpose is to eliminate any superhumans or aliens that threaten Earth!"
"Of course, we don't work for free. Every time we eliminate a threat, we'll hold a 'fundraiser'. After all, we protected them, so it's not unreasonable to charge them a fee, right?"
Although this was all made up, Yuma knew that no one in this world was a fool. There would never be such a pure organization.
Or even if there was, it would be corrupted by power, money, and desire over time, losing its original purpose.
Therefore, revealing a little greed in his organization would make people more likely to believe him.
"Who are 'they'?" Banner was a bit confused and asked subconsciously.
"Of course, it's the rich," Yuma bluffed. "Ordinary people don't have money."
After saying that, Yuma stroked his chin. "This idea I made up is actually pretty good. Maybe I should really start an organization like this. It sounds fun."
"Why should I believe you?" Banner thought for a moment and said. "How do I know you guys aren't working together?"
"Dude, can you stop asking such stupid questions?" Yuma was speechless. "If I were working with them, it would be the monster and Ross's army standing here, not me."
"Okay, I was being stupid," Banner admitted, then asked, "How do you know all this?"
Seeing that Banner believed him, Yuma found a place to sit down and said, "We have our own intelligence network. We know more than you think, including Betty Ross, oh!"
Banner clearly paused when he heard Betty's name. He remained silent for a while but didn't ask Yuma anything.
Yuma thought Banner would be eager to ask him, but he didn't respond. How could he continue the conversation if Banner didn't say anything?
"Ahem, ahem, Dr. Banner," Yuma had to speak up when Banner remained silent for a long time. "How about we make a deal?"
"What kind of deal?" Banner was wary.
"I'll tell you about Betty," Yuma explained. "And you answer one question for me. Don't worry, it's not about the formula or anything like that. It's just something I've been curious about."
"Okay, ask away." Banner agreed after hearing that it wasn't what he thought. It seemed he still couldn't let go of Betty.
"I want to know where you bought your pants," Yuma asked, seeing Banner looking at him with confusion. "Why is it that every time you transform into Hulk, your clothes get ripped, but only your pants?"
"No matter how many times you transform, your pants are always intact!"
"I'm really, really curious. Where did you buy those pants?"
Yuma looked at Banner expectantly, hoping he would tell him the answer.
This question had been bothering him ever since he started watching Hulk movies. Now that he had the chance to meet him in person, he had to get a clear answer!
"Holy crap!" After waiting for a long time, Yuma didn't get an answer, but he did get a green face from Banner.
"Dude, don't get excited. I was just kidding. Do you still want to know about Betty?" Yuma quickly reassured Banner.
Banner slowly returned to normal, glanced at Yuma, and then turned away, ignoring him.
Damn it, Yuma was frustrated. It's just a pair of pants! I wasn't going to steal them. Is it wrong to ask?
