Somewhere Far from the Academy — The Sealed Chamber
A dark temple buried beneath the desert sands.
The chains shimmered with divine runes. The silence was broken only by the sound of a slow, rhythmic heartbeat.
Then—crack.One chain broke.
The girl inside opened her eyes.
Golden irises. No pupils. Just pure light.
Her voice, barely more than a whisper:
"He… returned."
From the shadows, Lady Vireya smiled.
"Welcome back, Iris."
The girl said nothing. She simply stepped forward, blades forming in the air around her body like orbiting moons.
Each blade held a memory. Each memory was a death.
And in the center of her chest?
A burning sigil.
Kael's divine crest — scratched out.
At the Academy – The Calm Before Her Arrival
Kael sat on the rooftop, legs crossed, Zara leaning against his side, sword on her lap.
"Another one's coming," he said.
"You keep saying that," Zara replied. "But this time your heart skipped."
"This one's… different."
Kael's thoughts were heavy. He remembered flashes — battles beneath starless skies, blades that sang songs of grief, and one golden-eyed girl who stood at the edge of both love and annihilation.
"She killed me once," he whispered.
Zara's eyes widened.Rayna, overhearing, stopped flying midair.
"Wait—what?"
Arrival – A Rift in the Sky
At dawn, the sky above the academy cracked open.
Students screamed as a tear in space hovered above the sparring fields. From it, a girl descended slowly, barefoot, blades spinning around her like petals in a hurricane.
Iris.
Hair the color of a fading eclipse. Skin pale like moonlight. Her gaze cold enough to silence gods.
Kael walked forward alone.
The others followed at a distance, tense.
"Hello, Iris," Kael said.
She didn't blink.
"Why are you alive?"
That question wasn't anger — it was pain. She raised her hand. A blade formed — the same one that once pierced Kael's divine heart.
"You died beautifully," she whispered. "Don't ruin it by being imperfect now."
The Clash – Blade vs. Memory
She moved faster than any of the other girls.
Even Zara's eyes couldn't keep up.
Kael didn't dodge.He didn't fight.
He walked forward.
Each blade that came for him — he stopped with a single word:
"I remember your song."
"I remember the way you danced before battle."
"I remember the tears you never let fall."
Finally, the last blade reached him — and stopped, trembling.
Iris dropped to her knees, clutching her chest.
"Why do I still feel this?" she whispered. "Why does my soul sing when I see you?"
Kael touched her cheek.
"Because you were never my enemy."
"You were my anchor… and my executioner."
"And I loved you… even in death."
Apostle Reclaimed — The Blade Finds Its Scabbard
The crest on her chest glowed.
No longer scratched.
Whole.
The divine mark reappeared, this time pulsing in sync with Kael's.
The girls surrounded them.
Zara lowered her sword.Rayna looked away.Lilliane raised a brow.Mira… just smiled knowingly.
"Another one, huh?" Lyra mumbled. "Is there a limit?"
"There were twelve," Kael said softly. "Now there are six."
