Chapter 22 - Chapter 22: Echoes Beneath the Library

Chapter 22: Echoes Beneath the Library

"Memories are not always gifts. Sometimes, they are prisons."

Scene 1: Naelith's Awakening

Deep below the Library of Forgotten Tomes, Naelith opens the Null Divinity manuscript.

As the pages unseal, ancient glyphs wrap around her arms. Her eyes fill with stars—then emptiness.

"You were never meant to remember," says the pale girl.

"But now… you cannot forget."

Naelith's Memory Unlocked:

Her soul was once part of the First Null, a divine being whose knowledge terrified the gods.

She was split, rewritten, and reborn as a mortal scribe.

But her forgotten name echoes back: Elyra.

Character Unlocked: Elyra, the Erased Anchor

Role: Keeper of Lost Names

Appearance: Pale silver hair, eyes fractured like mirrored moons, clothed in tattered scholar robes.

Origin: She was the first soul erased by the gods, her entire existence redacted from reality.

Power:

Namebind – She can bind or unbind true names, the divine core of all things.

Voidweave – Weaves knowledge into reality—can create or erase magical laws temporarily.

Anchor's Truth – Prevents herself from being rewritten by divine powers. She is immune to forgetting.

She calls Ren "my second life" and warns:

"When the gods fear you, they'll offer salvation.

Say no."

Possible Love Interest: Unstable, mysterious, deeply tied to Ren's power and past life.

Scene 2: Divine Executor Arrives

Outside the library, a crack splits the sky.

Descending in golden chains is a massive relic:

Judgment Casket — a Divine-Class artifact that imprisons anything unworthy of divine memory.

A woman in celestial robes steps from it.

"Ren Kamizuki. You hold the Codex.

Release it, or be unmade."

Her name is Seraphiel – The Memory Judge of the Pantheon.

Codex Nullum – Chain Four Teaser

Chain Four: Scriptum Denied – Allows Ren to lock divine records.

He can make gods "forget" they created something—and unwrite history itself.
