Chapter 12 - Chapter 12; Me too granny....

"Momma, I will take a painting from those hundred paintings; there's one I will buy; I won't shortchange you." Lu Zi Zhen had seen those paintings and assisted her in completing other paintings, which he knew one by one in his heart.

"You! I can paint for you if you want one." She gently flicked his nose warmly smiling at him. Lu Zi Zhen was gentle and a kind guy who was emotionally intelligent since young. He had this favorite hobby of collecting her paintings.

"Nope, I want one from that batch, I would pay a reasonable amount of money. I won't pay less than the expected amount." It was because of these paintings and designs that they had contributed significantly towards the Lu Conglomerate, and this time, any amount of money generated from the paintings was going into her account.

It's not like she didn't have money; it's just that it was her hard work, and she deserved every single penny.

"How can I charge my babies? You can take any painting you want for free... Just pick your favorite; you will always come first." Yes, her family would always be first then customers. If they liked any paintings, then they can have it.

"Thank you, Mommy..." They all echoed together. Lu Ting Cheng also wanted a painting from that batch to put in his bedroom. Just looking at it would give him ambiance.

"Momma, you can go over to the store room and pick any picture you think is your favorite; tell Daddy to do so too when he returns." Lu Wan Ruyi held Mo Zhiqian's hand kneading it intimately while she sipped her tea from time to time.

"All right, thank you, my dear." Mo Zhiqian kissed her on the cheek. From the moment she had seen her, she loved her like she would have loved her own daughter. And since she was the only girl she was able to have, they all pampered her around.

"Momma, I will go over to my bedroom and get some rest, notify me when the food is ready. Lu Zi Zhen, when is your brother coming back? Did he say when his tour would end?" She would always get worried whenever he worked outside for long. He has been gone for just three days and this was already too much.

"I think it's today, he called me a few minutes ago." Lu Zi Zhen had a good relationship with the two brothers and always communicated from time to time.

"All right, I will go over to my bedroom." She got up, and they wanted to aid her over, but she strongly glared at them.

She walked over to the bedroom that was on the ground floor. They had moved it from upstairs the moment she had become pregnant.

Getting into the bedroom, she went over to the bed and laid down, she slightly felt exhausted and fell asleep.

_ _ _ _

"Grandma, I will go over to the study room; I have files to take care of for tomorrow's meeting..." Lu Ting Cheng had carried some of the work back home as he wanted to accompany his mother before doing the files later on into the night.

"Me too granny... Tell me when the food is ready, just send the maid to notify us." After kissing her on the cheek, they went upstairs to where the study room was situated. The entire family shared a study room, but each had a private study room attached to their personal master bedroom.

"Do you think it's okay that we are returning there? I don't know why, but I suddenly have this urge to go back to the country." Lu Ting Cheng didn't know what had happened but he had a lot of unanswered questions. He also learned that their current mother was once engaged to Lu Zi Zhen's biological father, and things probably didn't end well between them. Also, her parents hadn't treated her well. What if she gets traumatized? What if those scars got reopened? Was this a good decision to go back?

"You don't have to worry when it comes to mommy, she doesn't have any feelings left when it comes to that family. If you haven't noticed, she loves and adores this life the most, so, I don't think she is that stupid to throw away all these and yearn for people who had hurt her." Lu Zi Zhen had seen how Lu Zhi Hao treated his mother from the very beginning. Even his siblings had this terrible attitude towards her; not only have they framed her several times, but sometimes they could hurt and insult her; no matter what he had said to their father, he never listened, and he never did anything to stop them. But now, he had powers and was strong enough to protect her, no one was going to hurt her.
