Her gaze subtly swept over the crowd, wondering if some of these people were Logan's.
Unfortunately, she didn't recognize any of them. Her eyes drifted toward Logan, who stood calmly at a distance. His gaze was locked on her as though he had been waiting. Their eyes met, and Logan raised his eyebrows slightly, as if greeting her.
Natalie's heart skipped a beat. Was he deliberately helping her by pushing the price higher, forcing William to spend more?
Beside her, William's fingers tightened unconsciously around the bidding paddle. Her earlier words echoed in his mind:
"He has to consider his older brother's opinion before spending money…"
Who cares what Logan thinks?
"Thirty million!" William declared loudly, raising his paddle.
The crowd gasped.
"The second young master is so loaded!"
"No wonder he's a Parker."
William straightened his back, pride burning in his eyes. There was no way Logan would dare raise the price again.
