Ch.13
Adam was so nervous but he showed none of it, the sparing match had started and with a wooden sword Adam emerged right in front of Collins preparing to swing it "the teacher will try to stop me but.." this was the thought he had and yes the teacher appeared to stop him but he was already prepared. He vanished at that instant just to reemerge from the behind and with one swing he knocked Collins out. Just like that the teachers had to take him to the nurses room while the crowd stared in shock.
"Why did they lose the first fight if they can simply win without batting an eye?" The whispered to one another but was soon left lie that. Back at the dorms the two were celebrated like kings for winning the unexpected fights meanwhile back at the Red Mad HQ Collins was busy preparing a team to ambush the mansion without Adam knowing. The team comprised of Collins, Kiro and the other two members after Kiro. The walked in right at the bed of night, this was when the ladies had financial problems and still waiting to see if the plan would work meaning each one of them had extremely high stress levels just to be meet with another problem.
Collins and Kiro used their Royal Flames to engulf the building in flames but to their surprise nothing burned so for the whole 30 minutes they tried burning the whole estate.
"I think you've had enough chances by now." An old man wearing a Black suit walked out of the front entrance while the flames were still heading his way, with one blow of his mouth, the flames dispersed.
"Miladies right now are going through something kids like you wouldn't understand so please shift." He said this as he inhaled in a large amounts of air then blowing it right straight at the gang which sent them flying out of the gates and upon hitting the walls they broke their bones to the point of no return "If you want Me Adams then he's still in school and I somehow have the feeling you've already met." He stepped right inside the mansion the closing the two large doors which Adam had lived when he was still young.
Not so long after that an emergency ambulance appeared and none of the medics were surprised instead they had a look saying 'how stupid." Theesics said no word they only took them to the hospital. The night ended with Adam, head Butler and Collins having an eventful night.
The final exams were now a week away with new monsters arriving to the scene with each teacher looking pretty beaten up not because the monsters week strong but they had consecutive battles without rest just to arrive early at school before the exams could start. Everyone who saw the teachers return got very anxious thinking that the monsters were too strong for even some skilled teachers what would they do looking how weak they are. The exams had a slight difference since the training system was just implemented, the exams will now be focused on combat skills even for the commerce students meaning that the exams will now have a written part and the practical part each one weighing 50 percentage. The passing rate was 30% and above so you could pass without ever partaking in the other part of the exams.
Adam had a very clear idea of what he should do. The teachers were now wondering were in the hell is Collins and the entire gang, not knowing that the gang had disappeared just like that. Adam and Kintou didn't care for the exams that much since they only strive for a passing grade and that they were too lazy to read. The exams were now set and many people decided to focus on one part of the two part exam unlike Soi and Roi, they decided to participate in both part and give their all. Not many people went for the written part of the exam so it quickly went from writing to fighting.
Many people didn't know their scores after the battles with the monsters. The battles took place in a very large hall which was pitch black the only things emitting lights were the cages keeping the monsters in check, those cages also acted as the fighting ring. The students had choices on which one to fight and there were brave ones attempting to defeat the armoured knight on the throne and many were defeated. Adam watched them fight the knight and he felt something very strange in each battle especially when it looked at him, to him it felt like the knight was calling to him.
The knight would start each battle like it's training a random newbie but when the newbies tried to act all cocky, it would immediately go for the killing blow but never kills them as it quickly changes it's attack at the last moments. After each fight it would return back to the throne waiting on the next opponent. There was one unique trio who decided to go in at the same time to face the knight and to everyone's surprise the knight didn't move a thing and with just the pure aura it had immediately knocked the out and it almost broke the barrier keeping it inside the ring.
The teachers decided to put some warning signs on the cage which somehow enraged the knight, only Adam could feel the rage it had. Days went on and Adam noticed something, the kids were winning the battles on after the other like nothing obviously the knight was still undefeated. The dorms were very hot that night even though it was snowing outside. The final exams always take place at the cold times but it's the first time it snowed during the exams. Adam couldn't sleep a wink cause of the heat, all he could feel was rage and hatred which he definitely knew it wasn't his. That night he went out while holding some of the leftovers since all the hatred left him hungry.
He arrived at school and saw that the monsters were now outside and some of them clearly freezing. When he heard some kind of rumbling he thought the monsters were hungry so he offered his leftovers but they weren't enough. The food which the knight received was very filling even for a monster but the knight gave his food to the last monster which didn't get nothing so the only one who didn't eat was the knight.
"Nice move." Adam clapped his hands and told the knight that he'll be back. The time he returned he came bringing a bunch more food and this time the knight ate something, Adam couldn't see how the knight ate as it was too fast. "How can monsters eat human food?" He muttered to himself as he stood infront of the knight.
The school alarms rang out loud which was an indication that the police department would be coming full force since this school he attended was the number one in the whole nation. Adam quickly fled the scene and now he was feeling less rage from the knight which brought a smile to him.
What was he to do next?
