Siva and Karunkar reached their village when it is around sunset. Siva directly went to Muthyalaiah's farm assuming him to be present there as he leaves all the while later making sure every worker had gone. Siva found him as expected. He went to him ''Uncle, we 've returned '' Muthyalaiah replied ''good work coming back. How were the meetings?'' Siva answered ''you're right about Adeppa. We confirmed that his brother in-law has been doing those on his own, but now his daughter will be overseeing factory affairs. We finalized the deal...and please forgive me for my rude suggestion.''last sentence came out with remorse. Muthyalaiah shook his head sideways '' it's not your fault. I should have known his health condition before you. I'm the one at fault from the start.'' Siva widened his eyes. And Muthyalaiah continued '' hmmmm...if Lalitha oversees the factory affairs ,the chance of any problem arising is near to zero. She is so capable..'' Siva asked '' uncle, did you know already know about her competence? ''looking surprised. Muthyalaiah laughed out loudly and ''Of course I know my friend's daughter well. He would brag about her endlessly. Well.. she grew up in her grandfather's lap who is so great at administration and finances. And she's very intelligent so she naturally learned many things from her grandfather. After his death, due to her competence Adeppa left factory finances in her care while he takes care of orders.'' Siva '' she is really one an another level.''in an awe with his lips apart. Muthyalaiah laughed again. And as it began to become dark, they went back to their homes.
Karunakar was dropped at his home by Siva. ''Mother, can you bring me some water?'' His mother appeared with a small earthen pot with water and handed it to him.'' Sit over there after washing feet. I will get you something to eat '' and left to bring some food. Karunakar washed his feet and sat on the cot after he placed a parcel which is neatly wrapped in a fine cloth. His mother came and gave him the food, '' what is that beautiful package beside you'd asked as she reached her hand towards it. Karunakar flinched and immediately grabbed it reflexively and '' ooh...iiitttsss.. no nothing. Just ssomeeone asked me to bbring..something....'' he said it so nervous that made his mother to laugh her lungs off, and she just left without asking anything. Aparna who just came to home after her day with the young man, saw her brother's unusual behavior from the gate. She approached him '' Brotherr, is that for Krishna?'' Karunakar almost wanted to dig a hole and bury himself in that. Why're everyone asking the same question first Siva , next his mother who left looking at him as if she knew what he was up to, and now his sister. Was he so obvious to whom he will be bringing a gift?,he thought to himself. Karunakar just nodded to his sisters question and left to his room.
Aparna was too tired to pry into his business so she just fell on to the bed as soon as she entered her room.
The next next day,
Krishna "aunt Kasthuri where are you? " In a loud voice to make sure she's heard. "I'm here in the yard." Aunt Kasthuri replied in the same tone from the yard. Krishna went to aunt Kasthuri who is working in the yard. She saw her planting new plants. "Aunt Kasthuri, I've told you already to call me if you're going to plant new plants" Krishna sulked. "Wait, wait ,I'm not even done leveling the ground. I thought after this is completed I could call you to plant these in the soil."kasthuri replied showing a small shovel in her hand. Krishna looked a little satisfied with the answer and she grabbed a rake which is placed along with the plants that are to be planted yet. They both cleared a small portion about 8ft×6ft area. Watered-down that area. Dug the holes to put the plants in them. Aunt kasthuri brought new varieties of jasmine flowers and rose flowers and few varieties of chrysanthemum plants. If they grow and bear flowers, it will be enchanting to look at especially under the full moon. They completed planting them and arranged a barricade to prevent them from being eaten by cattle or goats. After completing that they cleansed themselves and went into the house. Krishna prepared the food from vegetables she brought while coming inside. It is packed into a box and aunt Kasthuri took that and went to give the box to Muthyalaiah for his lunch. Krishna had the food and wanted to visit Aparna and Oormila. She hasn't seen Aparna in last one month. Even when she went to her house her mother would reply that she's not at home.
Today she decided to wait at her home till she come back. Resolving that,she set out to Aparna's house.
At Aparna's house.
Aunt subhadra " oh Krishna you've come! Come here. Help me something" leading her to kitchen. Krishna "are you in the middle of cooking something aunt?"as she saw flour ,jaggery, milk, ghee and some other ingredient lying openly. Aunt subhadra nodded while smiling and " help me prepare sweet poor. You make it so deliciously. I always mess it up as I make syrup. Please...please..." Krishna couldn't say no to her and " okay aunt. Let's do it."as she took the free pleates of the half saree to her right hand and tucked them into the waist band. Looking at Krishna doing it so naturally, Subhadra felt like she doesn't wanna loose to her, took her free pleates of her saree and tucked them into her waist band.

. Krishna" aunt please prepare the dough by wheat flour and add a little of rice flour to it, add a pinch of salt, too spoons of ghee. Mix it well and see if it hold a shape." Aunt Subhadra done exactly and held the flour in her hand" Krishna, is this okay?". "Yes aunt, perfect now please knead it slowly by adding small amounts of water at each time.","okay.." subhadra continued to knead the dough.
