Executioner came out of his room at the sound of gunfire. He rushed to where the sound came from, finding Sakura standing calmly as nothing has happened beside a dead body on the floor. Sakura's expression remained neutral, he stared at the woman on the floor.
His gaze flicked between Sakura and the dead body. He took Sakura's hand, his voice in excitement.
" Did you do it? Was it fun?"
Sakura made a cold smile. " No, I didn't. Some motorcyclist shot her from the window."
Executioner's face softened, his hand running through his hair as he looked away.
" Why?"
Sakura shrugged. " No idea."
" You're not even shocked?"
He curiously asked.
Sakura smile, her voice in taking on a spooky tone.
" This lady's hard to kill. Lemme say...She's like...immortal."
Executioner chuckled, holding his stomach.
" Seriously?"
Sakura nodded.
" Forget it," Executioner said, skepticism on his face.
" I've killed tons of people, and none of them came back."
Sakura tilted her head, her eyes seemed to be confused.
" Take the body away"
" She's not waking up."
He said, turning to leave.
But just as he turned, the woman coughed, her eyes slowly opened. Executioner's turn and kick her stomach. " Sleep tight."
" Aaah, Master Raven, you shouldn't have kick her."
The woman's eyes closed, only to open again moments later. Executioner's eyes narrowed.
" Who are you?"
The woman stood up, cracking her neck and fingers. She punched Executioner hard on the face," Ouch!". He grunt in pain. Blooding flowing down from his nose.
" Why did you do that?"
The woman made a fake smile, " That's our greeting. I'm Mei, the one who saved your dad from death!"
Executioner eyelid raised. " You saved Bryce? Why'd you do that?"
Mei shortly smile. " Your family have connections with the emperors of heaven. I'm the thunder God assistant."
As she mentioned of thunder God, his eyes twitched.
" Kill her, she deserves to die."
The voice in his head exclaimed. Executioner knocked his head, whispering,
" Back off."
Mei raised an eyebrow. " What'd you say?"
Executioner forced a smile. " Nothing. Come on in, Mei."
Mei chuckled and walked in, her heels clicking on the floor. Sakura's face lit up, happy to see Mei. The voice in Executioner head spoke again,
" Have you seen Bryce's dead body? Or maybe...he's still alive."
Executioner's shock was palpable. " What!"
Sakura and Mei turned to him, concern on their faces. He whispered
"Nothing."
They sat down, Mei's pink lips catching the light as she talked. Sakura went to make coffee.
Executioner asked, his voice suspicious, " Why are you here?"
Mei sipped her coffee, setting the cup down gently.
" I'm here for you. You want revenge for your dad's death, right."
Executioner looked confused. " I guess so."
Mei smiled. " Good. I want you to join our agency. We save lives and kill when needed. I have a mission for you."
He shook his head.
" No way, I've got stuff to deal with."
Mei moved closer. " I know what you're dealing with. We can help you recover, but you gotta do me a favor."
Executioner hesitated.
" What favor?"
Mei's expression turned serious." No killing innocent people."
Executioner frowned his face. " What? Then forget it. I'm Executioner, I decide who lives or dies."
Mei made a cute sound with his tongue. " Okay, okay." She stood up, grabbing her bag.
" I'll be waiting for you tomorrow at 5:30am."
Executioner nodded. Mei walked out, Sakura offering to escort her. Mei smiled, shaking her head. " I have a car, no need."
Mei got into her Rolls-Royce and drove away.
Executioner closed the door and told Sakura to closed the window and turn off the light.
" It's late, get some sleep." He said, heading to his room. Sakura did as instructed and went to her room.
" Taro, the weapon is ready to destroy the city."
Kaito reported to Taro. Taro laughed loudly puffing on his cigarette.
" Good, we'll use it when the rocket is ready."
5:12am,
Executioner alarm beeped. He yawned, got out of bed, and started his morning routine.
After brushing his teeth and taking a bath, he dressed and headed to the kitchen. Sakura had made him a special breakfast, which he ate before leaving.
When he arrived at Mei's apartment, she greeted him with a smile.
" Hey, Mr Executioner...or should I say Mr. Raven?"
Executioner was taken aback but he didn't show it.
Mei took him to a room filled with weapons and luxury cars.
"Whoa!" Executioner eyes fascinating.
" Choose a car you like." She said.
Executioner picked a Pagani utopia coupe. Mei handed him the keys and started explaining the car features.
" This is a Pagani utopia coupe, 2022 model. It has a 6-liter V12 twin-turbo engine, 864 horsepower, and a top speed of 217 miles per hour. And also take good care of it cuz it coast $ 2.8 million."
Executioner's eyes widened. " What?"
Mei chuckled. " Just kidding."
Next, Mei took him to an underground room where six agents were waiting. Four guys and two sexy girls. Mei smiled.
" Alright, Executioner, meet our team."
She pointed to a man with spectacles, piercing blue eyes, and a grey hair.
" This is Ryota, our top tracker. Looks like harmless nerd, but trust me, he's deadly."
Mei moved on to the next person.
" This is Shota, our resident thief. He can swipe your wallet or watch without even noticing."
Executioner raised an eyebrow, skeptical.
" Prove it."
Shota smiled, intentionally collided with Executioner, and they both stood up. Shota asked,
" Where's your watch, Executioner?"
Executioner's eyes gently widened as he looked at his wrist - his watch was gone. He nodded, impressed.
" A pro thief, huh? And you're quite the looker too...almost as handsome as me, but I'm not a thief."
Mei laughed and continued.
" Next up is Hiroto, our genius second tracker. He can find anyone without gadgets, just his instincts."
Hiroto's dark hair fell across his forehead, and his yellow eyes seemed to bright. Mei voice softened slightly as she added, " He's been through a tough time, lost his parents in an accident...but don't let his calm exterior fool you."
Then Mei pointed at the last guy, a Chinese boy with brown hair that sparked laughter.
" This is Ling Tian, our kung fu master and protector. He's kind and descent...but his hairdo is questionable."
The team laughed in excitement.
Mei composed herself and introduce the two ladies.
" And finally, our beauties - Rina and Natsumi. They'll distract any enemy with their stunning looks.
Executioner was lured at the two women's smooth skin and bright lips.
Mei's face turned into serious.
" This mission won't be easy. Our target is Mr. Daiki. We need him alive and retrieve a case from him. let's move out."
