Chapter 105 - Don't Come! Don't Come! Don't Come!

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

Explosions rocked the area beneath the rose-colored star in the Dark Area. Within Cherubimon's castle, the ground shook as chaos erupted.

Meanwhile, in another castle nearby—belonging to the Evil Warriors of the Dark Area...

The Digital World's top idol, the Water Warrior Nanamon, stood at the door, peering toward Cherubimon's castle. "Is that an earthquake?" she wondered aloud.

A serious voice responded, "You should hide under a table during an earthquake."

Nanamon turned to see SacredTreeMon, the Wood Warrior, actually curled up under a table, arms around his knees, expressionless—looking even more wooden than usual.

"Seriously…" Nanamon sighed, palm to forehead. She wanted to say something more, but knew better than to waste her breath on his stoic nature.

Then a slightly flippant voice added, "Looks like our master, Cherubimon, has run into trouble."

She turned to see it was SilverMirrorMon, the Steel Warrior, speaking.

Nanamon looked worried. "Should we go help him?"

SilverMirrorMon chuckled, "Nanamon, are you underestimating our master? Cherubimon is invincible. How could something small trouble him?"

"True…" Nanamon nodded.

But deep inside, SilverMirrorMon thought: I hope he just dies and saves us the trouble.

Suddenly, a cold voice interrupted, "We're going to support Cherubimon."

"DarkMon?!"

Nanamon, SilverMirrorMon, and SacredTreeMon turned to the shadows, where a figure in pitch-black skeletal armor emerged—the Darkness Warrior.

His armor was terrifying: eyeball-like structures on his shoulders, chest, knees, and feet that actually moved, following SilverMirrorMon with a chilling gaze.

SilverMirrorMon stepped back, smiling nervously. "DarkMon, let's not be hasty…"

Swish!

In an instant, DarkMon vanished and reappeared right in front of him, a twisted crimson blade pressed to SilverMirrorMon's face—his cursed sword Blood Evolution, which absorbed enemy power.

"Move," DarkMon said coldly.

SilverMirrorMon raised his hands in surrender, laughing awkwardly. "Okay, okay—we'll go right away."

The four Evil Warriors raced toward Cherubimon's castle at full speed.

On the Trailmon heading to the Dark Area, Koji Minamoto suddenly noticed his Digivice glowing. He took out his D-Tector and saw the symbol of HolyAngewomon appear.

A panicked voice came from the screen:

"Don't come! Don't come! Don't come!"

"Children… whatever you do, don't go near the rose-colored star…"

The voice was urgent, then faltered—but the warning was clear.

It was HolyAngewomon.

Takuya Kanbara, Koji, Zoe Orimoto, Tomoki Himi, Junpei Shibayama, Bokomon, and Neemon looked at each other in confusion.

HolyAngewomon had chosen them long ago. Why was she only now warning them not to approach?

"What does this mean?" Koji asked.

"She might be in trouble," he concluded.

Zoe and Junpei glanced at Bokomon, who was holding a Digi-Egg left behind by Seraphimon.

"Maybe she's like Seraphimon… attacked by someone?" Tomoki guessed.

Koji said, "If HolyAngewomon told us not to go, maybe we should stay and observe first."

But Takuya disagreed loudly. "What are you saying?! If she's in danger, we should help her!"

A strong point—too strong to ignore.

Koji frowned. "If she's warning us like that, the enemy must be beyond anything we've imagined."

Takuya remained unfazed. "We've got both Human and Beast Spirits now! If we work together, no enemy is unbeatable!"

Zoe, Tomoki, and Junpei nodded in agreement. Though Koji's logic was sound, Takuya's passion won them over.

They were successors of the Ten Warriors, now armed with both spirit forms.

No matter the threat—they believed in their strength.

"We've arrived at the Dark Area!"

Trailmon announced, prompting them to get off.

Takuya disembarked, noting they were just at the edge of the region. "What, we're not even inside yet?"

Trailmon said, "I'm not going further. I'm scared of the Dark Area."

"…"

The group fell silent—he wasn't even pretending to be brave.

"See ya!" Trailmon quickly reversed and rolled away at full speed, abandoning them.

"Hey! Come back!" Takuya shouted, to no avail.

"Do we walk now?" they looked toward the distant sky.

A rose-colored glow pierced the heavy clouds. Their destination. It looked days away on foot.

Koji was relieved.

He was the only one not swept up in confidence, still thinking that whatever enemy HolyAngewomon faced must be too strong for them.

With no transportation, they'd have more time—time to prepare, gather info, and power up.

Just then—a flying island descended from the sky.

"An island?"

"A flying island?!"

They gaped in awe. Even in the Digital World, they'd never seen a sky city like this.

More unbelievable still—a beautiful angel descended from above, waved at them with a smile, and said, "Need a lift?"

It was Moss.

The kids, all chosen by HolyAngewomon, naturally felt drawn to this angelic figure.

Koji frowned in suspicion. "Who are you?"

"I'm Angewomon," Moss said calmly. "I'm heading to rescue HolyAngewomon."

Takuya stepped in before Koji could speak again. "We're going to help her too. Let's go, Koji."

He led the others onto Wandering Island.

Koji sighed and followed reluctantly.

Once aboard, he saw young Digimon playing around. That eased his worries.

If this place were run by evil forces, there wouldn't be weak Digimon here—it would be survival of the fittest.

But here… these were innocent souls.

"Look! A person!"

They spotted Kari Kamiya.

She smiled shyly. "Hi, I'm Kari Kamiya. Just call me Kari."

"Takuya Kanbara."

"Zoe Orimoto."

"Junpei Shibayama."

"Tomoki Himi."

"…Koji Minamoto."

They exchanged greetings.

Takuya was about to ask if Kari was wearing pajamas when Koji abruptly asked, "Kari, are you a Chosen Child too?"

Everyone blinked—Koji wasn't usually the first to speak.

Strange!

"Yeah," Kari nodded.

Koji couldn't explain why, but she felt… different. He took out his D-Tector. "Do you have one of these?"

Kari pulled out her Holy Plan.

It looked nothing like the D-Tectors—except for the screen size.

Moss stepped in to explain: "You're all Chosen Children, but you come from different systems. Kari's Holy Plan supports her Digimon's evolution. Your D-Tectors allow you to spirit evolve into Digimon yourselves."

"I see… different types of Chosen Children."

They were confused—but accepted it.

Onismon saw that everyone was aboard and shouted, "Departure!"

Wandering Island resumed flight, heading toward the rose-colored star.

Bokomon heard Onismon's voice and said, "Hey, that's the same Onismon from before!"

The kids looked at each other—yes, that voice did sound familiar!

Meanwhile, back at Cherubimon's castle—disaster.

Though Cherubimon was one of the few Mega Digimon in the Digital World and one of the Three Great Angels, he was no match for Dynasmon and was beaten to his knees.

Boom!

A building exploded. From the smoke walked Crusadermon, dragging a broken figure by the hair.

It was HolyAngewomon—battered, her once-graceful form now bruised and humiliated.

Cherubimon saw her and roared, unleashing a sudden burst of strength that pushed Dynasmon back several meters.

Dynasmon raised an eyebrow.

Where'd that power come from?

Crusadermon smirked. "So you do still care about her. No wonder you locked her in a cage of light and kept her like a pet canary."

With a flick, he tossed HolyAngewomon to the ground before Cherubimon.

Cherubimon looked down. "Are you okay?"

She trembled, said nothing—only reached out mentally to the children with all her remaining strength:

Don't come! Don't come! Don't come!

She had thought the children would face only Cherubimon. But now, with two Royal Knights involved—they didn't stand a chance.

Her only hope was to stop them from walking into death.

Crusadermon said to Dynasmon, "Finish them."

Dynasmon nodded. His body surged with malevolent energy. "Dragon's Breath!"

A massive dragon-shaped aura formed around him.

"Hmm?"

Crusadermon spotted four figures approaching. "You must be the Ten Warriors? Huh, not very pretty."

Nanamon was furious. "You calling me ugly?! You're the ugly one! Bleh!"

She stuck out her tongue at him.

Crusadermon cracked his neck, growing serious.

SilverMirrorMon stepped forward. "Let it go, Nanamon."

"But look at him—pink! The color of evil!"

Without a word, DarkMon launched himself at Dynasmon, dual cursed blades drawn.

Dynasmon canceled Dragon's Breath, switching to Dragon's Roar, an ability that adapted to enemy types—now using dark energy against the Dark Warrior.

Clang!

Steel clashed. DarkMon's blades struck Dynasmon's hands—leaving no mark.

"No way!" Nanamon gasped.

She hated to admit it, but that attack could've seriously injured her.

SilverMirrorMon explained, "They're wearing Time Digi-Alloy. Stronger than normal metal."

Crusadermon smirked. "You know a lot."

Cherubimon shouted, "SilverMirrorMon! Use the data!"

Crusadermon perked up. "What data?"

SilverMirrorMon knew: if even Cherubimon was this desperate, this was a last resort.

"Very well. Let's see what happens."

A data stream poured from his mirrored shield, cocooning him in a glowing egg. When it burst—

He emerged in a new form.

It wasn't his Beast Spirit form. It was…

"Seraphimon?!" Nanamon exclaimed.

No. It looked like Seraphimon, but…

Its golden wings were now bat wings, the armor green instead of blue, the cross on its mask twisted. It even bore SilverMirrorMon's lipstick mark.

A dark Seraphimon.

"Black Seraphimon."

SilverMirrorMon's voice echoed from the twisted angel.

Crusadermon laughed. "So the Three Great Angels are all here—one wounded (HolyAngewomon), one corrupted (Cherubimon), and one hacked (Seraphimon). How poetic."

He lunged at Black Seraphimon.

"SacredTreeMon, Spirit Evolution—FloraDragonmon!"

A massive wooden dragon joined DarkMon in fighting Dynasmon.

"I—I don't know who to help!" Nanamon cried.

BOOM!

The earth trembled violently.

"What now?!" she screamed.

White light erupted from cracks in the ground, blasting terrain to pieces.

"Collect the power of the angels!" a voice rang out from the light.

Crusadermon smiled. "Looks like our master loves the Three Angels."

"Dynasmon—full power!"

"Got it!"

Dynasmon's aura surged.

"I can't hold him!" FloraDragonmon screamed as her arm was torn off.

Dynasmon grabbed her tail, swung her into DarkMon, and hurled them both over 100 meters.

"Dragon's Breath!"

Dynasmon turned to finish off Cherubimon and HolyAngewomon—energy coalescing into a dragon.

There was no one left to stop him.

BOOM!

"AHH!"

"…Huh?" HolyAngewomon blinked in shock.

Standing in front of her—blocking the attack—was Cherubimon.
