Fred quietly followed behind him.
Fred had served Joseph for years and knew he hated anyone bringing up his family background. But Daniel had gone straight for that sore spot.
Fred still remembered how close the two young masters once were. It was hard to believe things had turned out into a huge conflict.
Fred snapped out of his thoughts when they reached the car. He quickly opened the door for Joseph. Once Joseph got in, Fred ran to the driver's seat.
"Sir, are we going back to the castle now?"

Ding dong! Beep beep!
Just as Joseph was about to speak, his phone rang. But before he could check it, a strange ticking sound filled inside the car like a timer or a clock.
"Fred, get out!" Joseph shouted.
A loud explosion followed right after Joseph's warning.
He threw himself forward, trying to escape the blast. The heat scorched the air behind him.
