Before Joseph could respond, Daniel wrapped his arm around Chantelle's waist and guided her downstairs.
Chantelle felt overwhelmed. Everything she just heard left her stunned.
What kind of shocking news was that?!
She had no clue Joseph was Daniel's brother.
She opened her mouth to speak but stopped when she saw Daniel's face turn serious.
Once they were back in the car outside the bar, Daniel sat beside her and glanced her way. He could tell she was dying to ask questions.
"Go ahead, ask."
"Haha, no questions from me. Every family has secrets, and I'm not curious at all." Chantelle felt a bit embarrassed that Daniel caught her.
Her cheeks turned red.
"Thanks for the blazer."
Trying to break the awkward moment, Chantelle took it off and held it out to give it back to him.
But Daniel didn't take the blazer. Instead, he tilted his head and looked at her with a teasing smile. It made her blush even more.
