Hearing Velen's words, Christian's eyes darted nervously.

Velen clearly didn't believe him.

Christian found himself once again following Velen toward another succubus house.
Even though Christian tried desperately to resist, Velen simply ignored him.
Looking at the succubus house in the distance, Christian's heart sank into despair.
