Seeing that the system no longer responded, Velen let out a long sigh and muttered to himself,
"Looks like I'll have to return to the fortress. Can't leave anyone out in a matter like this. Guess I'll have to subsidize them myself."
He clenched his fist with determination.
"They must experience this!"
Moments later—
"Lord Velen, did you summon us?"
Hael, Austin, and William had arrived at Velen's guest room. Unlike before, none of them dared call him "Little Brother Velen" anymore.
After all, just recently, the five of them had been nearly beaten to death by the five Grand Senators. That particular beating had left a lasting impression—etched into their very souls.
"There are twelve potions here—four for each of you. Hurry up and drink them. They're very beneficial to your body."
Without further ado, Velen handed them a dozen bottles of Endurance Potion.
"Lord Velen," Hael asked curiously while accepting the vials, "shouldn't we call Audrey and Jenny over too?"
