"Wow! He's incredible!" The 1st Gen Spider-Man couldn't help but marvel at what he was seeing. Watching the 2nd Gen Spider-Man in action might not seem too special to outsiders, but only someone who had fought enemies firsthand understood just how fast lightning really was.
The 2nd Gen Spider-Man was not only dodging Max's high-speed attacks but also countering them with precision. His spider-sense was significantly sharper than the 1st Gen's.
"If it were me, I'd probably just have to take Max's attack head-on and throw a couple of punches," the 1st Gen Spider-Man admitted with a shrug. "We're just completely different types of Spider-Men."
Tony, meanwhile, observed Max absorbing the electrical energy, and a thought suddenly struck him. "Banner! What do you think would happen if we did the opposite—drain Max of all his electricity instead?"
"I'm not sure," Banner mused, rubbing his chin. "But… that might actually be a good idea!"
"Alright! Jarvis, add this to Electro's file!" Tony decided on the spot.
[Max clamped his fingers tightly around Peter's neck, his grip crackling with electricity. Peter struggled but managed to choke out a question, "Are you ready to give up?"]
[In response, Max opened his mouth and fired a surge of electricity directly at Peter's face.]
[What Max didn't realize, however, was that Peter's suit wasn't conductive! The attack had no effect, and Peter took advantage of Max's surprise to kick him into the air.]
[Immediately, Peter fired a web at Max. Sensing the move, Max condensed his electricity to grab the web, hoping to fry Peter's web shooters and disable him.]
[A high-intensity current surged down the web line, instantly heating the web shooter to a glowing red. But—there was no malfunction.]
["Oh! Thanks, Gwen Stacy!!!" Peter grinned, acknowledging Gwen's earlier help, before yanking the web back with full force.]
[Max, unable to resist Peter's strength while airborne, was slammed directly into the electrical grid. The moment he landed, he released an immense electromagnetic pulse.]
[A powerful shockwave blasted Peter away, sending him rolling across the ground until he crashed hard into a rock.]
[Disoriented and aching all over, Peter groaned as he tried to push himself up. "Come on, Parker… it's just your bones, muscles, and organs! Walk it off!" he muttered to himself.]
[As he struggled to stand, he noticed an ominous sight—electricity was coiling around one of the power grid's pillars. "Oh, no… not good."]
[Before Peter could react, the electric current raced through multiple pillars before suddenly materializing in front of him—Max had reformed and immediately delivered a devastating punch, launching Peter through the air once more before vanishing again.]
["Oof—!" Peter barely had time to cry out before he slammed into the ground. But before he could recover, Max flashed between the pillars, attacking him again in quick succession.]
[Peter tumbled to the ground, groaning. "I hate this soundtrack!" he grumbled before forcing himself to his feet again.]
[Max continued to dodge between the pillars, moving unpredictably. Then, in a sudden burst of speed, he struck Peter from behind. But this time, he didn't just knock him backward—he sent him crashing against a pillar.]
[The pillar erupted with a powerful electromagnetic shockwave, catapulting Peter into the air once again. Before he could stabilize himself, Max was already there, striking him again and sending him flying into the electrical grid's screen.]
[Desperate, Peter tried to shoot a web to steady himself, but Max saw through his move and instantly bound Peter's limbs with electric currents.]
[Peter struggled against the restraints, trying to pull free, but the force was too strong. His webbing snapped under the strain, leaving him trapped mid-air.]
[Max raised his hands, summoning a massive surge of electricity. Peter continued to fight against the bonds, frantically attempting to fire another web—]
["Spider-Man! I bet you've never seen this before!" Max sneered, his hands glowing with raw power.]
"It had to be me, right?" Gwen smirked as she watched Peter's web shooters hold up against Max's electrical attack.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Peter said, nodding rapidly in agreement. He had to admit—without Gwen's modifications, his web shooters would've been fried long ago.
Harry, meanwhile, was laughing as he ate his cake. "Peter never took school seriously! Hahaha!"
"Hey! I helped you with your homework when we were kids!" Peter shot back, rolling his eyes.
Harry immediately went silent, shoving a bite of cake into his mouth to avoid further discussion.
Meanwhile, Max sat awkwardly to the side, feeling incredibly self-conscious. The screen showed him pinning Peter in mid-air like a twisted science experiment, and at this point, he didn't even dare to make a sound. He simply kept his head down, pretending to be very interested in his food.
[Just as Max was about to deliver the finishing blow, a police car suddenly crashed through the iron fence, speeding toward him at full force.]
[Max barely had time to turn his head before the vehicle slammed into him, sending him flying.]
[With Max momentarily losing control, the electric currents binding Peter flickered and dissipated. Gravity took hold, and Peter plummeted, landing hard on a metal pipe below, denting it on impact.]
[Gwen jumped out of the driver's seat, storming toward Peter with an exasperated glare. "Are you serious? You glued me to the car? Who do you think you are, some caveman?! You tied me up and ran off to fight? I know how to help you!!!"]
[Peter groaned as he staggered to his feet, still feeling the effects of Max's attacks. "You shouldn't be here! What are you doing here?" he demanded, immediately stepping in front of Gwen as if to shield her.]
["I've read the power grid's instructions! I can restart the system!" Gwen insisted, standing her ground.]
["You can't stay here! I'm not joking, Gwen! This is too dangerous!" Peter tried to reason with her, gripping her hand tightly. He knew firsthand just how powerful Max was, and he couldn't risk Gwen getting hurt.]
["No one makes my decisions for me! Okay?! No one! This is my choice!" Gwen stared into Peter's eyes, her resolve unshakable.]
[Peter let out a defeated sigh, turning his head away. Gwen tilted hers, watching him closely before adding, "It's my choice. I decide. Got it?"]
[Finally, accepting that she wasn't going anywhere, Peter turned his attention back to Max. "Alright… he's fully charged now. Just like a battery. What happens when a battery is overcharged?"]
["It explodes!" Gwen answered without hesitation, instinctively taking a step back.]
["Exactly!" Peter nodded.]
["So, we're going to use his own electricity against him? Beautiful!!!" Gwen quickly caught onto Peter's plan, her eyes lighting up.]
["Alright! I'll reconnect the cable, but you have to restart the system! When I say reboot the power—you reboot! Got it?"]
["No matter what happens, restart it anyway!" Peter instructed, his voice heavy with urgency.]
[Gwen looked at him, concern flickering in her eyes. "Peter…"]
