The room spun, and twirled under me as I tried to stand up. I fell back to the floor and winced because my head had hit something hard- like wood.
I laid back on the floor, and looked up. There were light stars cut from cardboard gummed to the ceilings, and that was when a cord struck a beat in my head.
I was back! I was back in my room, and was laying on the floor beside my bed.
Picking myself up again, I bolted to the light switch. The room lightened up, revealing my large well-arranged room with its bare gray walls.
With a drop on my knees to the floor, I covered my mouth and muffled a scream, sighing heavily as hot tears began to drop like rain, streaming down my face, washing away my pain—the greatest pain I've ever experienced in the last couple of hours.
I ran to the mirror to be sure it was real, and that I wasn't dreaming again.
But, then I got the utmost shock of my life.
