Chapter 36 - 5

The girls exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of amusement, disbelief, and intrigue. Bonfie finally released Billy's arm, stepping back with a pout, though her tail still flicked excitedly behind her.

Bonfie: "Well, that didn't go how I expected… but I'm not giving up!~"

Frenni, still chuckling, placed a hand on her hip and leaned closer to Billy, her smirk widening.

Frenni: "Oh, this is going to be way more fun than I thought~. You're like a blank slate, shiny. We'll have to teach you everything~."

Chiku, arms still crossed, let out a small sigh but couldn't hide the slight smirk tugging at her lips.

Chiku: "This is going to be… interesting. I'll give him this—he's not boring."

Fexa, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, rolled her eyes but couldn't suppress a small grin.

Fexa: "Yeah, yeah, he's 'different.' But I'm still not convinced he's not just some weirdo who wandered in here by accident."

Golden Frenni, her blush still faintly visible, crossed her arms tightly and looked away, muttering under her breath.

Golden Frenni: "H3's… d!ff3r3nt, @ll r!ght. But !t's nøt l!k3 ! c@r3 ør @nyth!ng…"

Internally, however, she couldn't help but feel a strange pull toward Billy. His calm demeanor and complete lack of awareness about their teasing was… oddly endearing.

Marie, ever the composed one, simply watched the scene unfold with a small, knowing smile. She stepped forward, her voice calm but carrying a hint of amusement.

Marie: "Well, it seems we have a lot to teach him. But let's not overwhelm him all at once. He's… unique, and that's not necessarily a bad thing."

Bonfie bounced back into the conversation, her energy undiminished.

Bonfie: "Ohhh, I call dibs on teaching him how to have real fun!~ He's gonna learn how to laugh, dance, and maybe even blush—even if it's just in spirit!~"

Frenni chuckled, her tail swishing playfully.

Frenni: "And I'll teach him how to charm the crowd~. He's got potential, even if he doesn't know it yet."

Fexa snorted, pushing off the wall and walking over to stand beside the group.

Fexa: "Fine, fine. I'll stick around to make sure he doesn't turn into a total dork. Someone's gotta keep him in line."

Chiku shrugged, her tone as calm as ever.

Chiku: "I'll handle the food side of things. If he's as good at cooking as he claims, maybe he'll actually be useful."

Golden Frenni, still avoiding direct eye contact with Billy, muttered softly.

Golden Frenni: "...I gu3ss ! c@n h3lp… !f h3 n33ds !t…"

Marie nodded, her smile gentle but knowing.

Marie: "Then it's settled. We'll all help him adjust. But let's take it slow. He's not like us, and that's something we should respect."

The girls exchanged nods, their curiosity about Billy now mingled with a sense of purpose. Whether they were intrigued, amused, or just plain entertained, one thing was clear: Billy was about to become a central part of their lives—whether he realized it or not.

Frenni clapped her hands together, her grin widening.

Frenni: "Alright, girls~. Let's show our new golden boy how things work around here~."

As the girls began to chatter excitedly about their plans, Billy stood quietly, his glowing blue pupils flickering slightly as he observed them with the same calm curiosity. He didn't fully understand what was happening, but one thing was certain: his life at the nightclub was about to get a lot more… interesting.

Billy remained standing, his glowing blue pupils flickering slightly as the girls chattered excitedly around him. Multiple voices talking at once, loud and overlapping, was something he was very used to—after all, children were often just as energetic and chaotic. But this was different. The girls weren't children; they were animatronics like him, yet their energy was… unique.

For a moment, Billy hesitated, his internal processors whirring as he tried to make sense of the situation. Then, with a quiet determination, he decided to tune out the noise and focus on one person in particular: Golden Frenni.

He stepped toward her, his heavy metallic footsteps echoing softly against the polished floor. The girls didn't immediately notice his movement, too caught up in their own excitement, but as Billy approached Golden Frenni, the room seemed to quiet down slightly, the others turning their attention to him.

Billy tilted his head slightly, his voice calm and measured as he spoke.

Billy: "You sound more... clear in a way, different in another way, and hard to understand at the same time... You remind me of my friend Fred, but you look different than him... More shiny and golden. And you both have difficulty talking with others. Don't worry, he's shy. Are you too?"

The room fell into a brief, stunned silence. The girls exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of surprise, amusement, and curiosity. Golden Frenni, however, froze in place, her golden eyes widening slightly as a deep blush spread across her cheeks.

Bonfie was the first to react, her ears twitching excitedly as she clasped her hands together.

Bonfie: "Ooooh~! Goldie, he's talking to you!~"

Frenni smirked, placing a hand on her hip as she leaned slightly toward Golden Frenni.

Frenni: "Looks like someone's caught his attention~. What's the matter, Goldie? Cat got your tongue?~"

Golden Frenni shot Frenni a glare, her blush deepening as she crossed her arms tightly.

Golden Frenni: "Shùt !t, Fr3nn!! !t's nøt l!k3 th@t!"

Internally, however, she was flustered. Billy's calm, direct approach had caught her completely off guard. She wasn't used to someone paying her this kind of attention—especially not someone as… different as Billy.

Chiku, ever the observer, raised an eyebrow, her expression neutral but her tone laced with subtle amusement.

Chiku: "Hmph. Seems like he's got a thing for golden animatronics."

Fexa, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, let out a short laugh.

Fexa: "Yeah, or he's just weird. Either way, this is hilarious."

Marie, standing slightly apart from the group, watched the interaction with a small, knowing smile. She didn't say anything, but her golden eyes sparkled with quiet amusement.

Golden Frenni turned her gaze back to Billy, her blush still visible as she tried to regain her composure. She huffed softly, brushing a strand of hair out of her face as she spoke, her voice glitching slightly as usual.

Golden Frenni: "I'm nøt shy… !t's just… yøu're w31rd, th@t's @ll."

The room fell into a brief silence as the girls waited to see how Billy would respond. When he spoke, his words were calm, measured, and surprisingly thoughtful. The girls exchanged glances, their expressions shifting from amusement to intrigue.

Bonfie, ever the energetic one, was the first to react. Her ears twitched excitedly, and she clasped her hands together, her eyes sparkling with delight.

Bonfie: "Ohhh my gosh, did you hear that?! He's so sweet!~ Goldie, he's calling you special!~"

She bounced slightly on her heels, her tail flicking behind her as she grinned at Golden Frenni.

Bonfie: "You're blushing again!~ Admit it, you like him!~"

Golden Frenni shot Bonfie a glare, her blush deepening as she turned her head away.

Golden Frenni: "Shùt !t, Bønf!3! !'m nøt blùsh!ng!"

Internally, however, she was struggling to process Billy's words. No one had ever called her special before—at least, not in a way that felt genuine.

Frenni, leaning casually against the stage with a hand on her hip, smirked as she watched the interaction unfold. Her tail swished playfully behind her, and her voice dripped with amusement.

Frenni: "Aw, Goldie~. He's got a point, you know. You are unique~. And shiny~. And now you've got your very own admirer~."

She winked at Golden Frenni, her tone teasing but not unkind.

Golden Frenni huffed, crossing her arms even tighter.

Golden Frenni: "H3's nøt my @dm!r3r! H3's just… w31rd!"

Frenni chuckled, clearly enjoying Golden Frenni's flustered state.

Frenni: "Sure, sure~. Keep telling yourself that, Goldie~."

Chiku, standing slightly apart from the group, raised an eyebrow as she observed the scene. Her expression was as neutral as ever, but there was a hint of curiosity in her golden eyes.

Chiku: "Hmph. He's not wrong, though. You are unique. Even if you don't like admitting it."

She crossed her arms, her tone matter-of-fact but not unkind.

Golden Frenni shot Chiku a glare, but she didn't argue. Deep down, she knew there was some truth to Billy's words—and that only made her more flustered.

Fexa, leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, let out a short laugh. Her sharp eyes gleamed with amusement as she watched Golden Frenni squirm.

Fexa: "Hah. Looks like Goldie's finally met her match. Who knew all it would take was a weirdo like him to crack her shell?"

She smirked, her tail flicking lazily behind her.

Golden Frenni turned her glare toward Fexa, her voice glitching slightly as she snapped back.

Golden Frenni: "I'm nøt cr@ck!ng! H3's th3 w31rd øn3, nøt m3!"

Fexa shrugged, her smirk widening.

Fexa: "Sure, sure. Keep telling yourself that, Goldie."

Marie, standing slightly apart from the group, watched the interaction with a small, knowing smile. Her golden eyes sparkled with quiet amusement, but there was also a hint of warmth in her expression.

Marie: "He's not wrong, you know. Being unique isn't a bad thing. It's what makes you… you."

Her voice was calm and gentle, carrying a sense of wisdom that made the others pause.

Golden Frenni glanced at Marie, her blush still visible but her expression softening slightly. She didn't respond, but the tension in her shoulders seemed to ease just a little.

As the girls continued to tease Golden Frenni, their curiosity about Billy only grew. His calm, genuine demeanor was unlike anything they'd encountered before, and it was clear he had a way of getting under their skin—especially Golden Frenni's.

Bonfie bounced over to Golden Frenni, her excitement undiminished.

Bonfie: "Come on, Goldie~! He's being so nice! You should talk to him more!~"

Golden Frenni shot Bonfie a glare, but there was no real heat behind it.

Golden Frenni: "I @m t@lk!ng tø h!m! G3t øff my b@ck!"

Despite her defensive tone, there was a hint of warmth in her voice—something the others didn't miss.

Frenni smirked, her tail swishing playfully.

Frenni: "Oh, this is gonna be fun~. Goldie's finally found someone who can keep up with her~."

The girls laughed, their teasing lighthearted but not unkind. For Golden Frenni, however, this was uncharted territory. She wasn't used to being the center of attention—especially not in a positive way. But as she glanced at Billy, his calm, genuine demeanor slowly began to chip away at her defenses.

Maybe, just maybe, she could let her guard down—even if it was just a little.
