Chapter 35 - 4

As the questions started rolling in, the girls naturally fell into a rhythm, each taking turns to probe Billy with curiosity, intrigue, and playful teasing.

Marie, ever composed, was the first to break the silence. She took a step forward, her warm gaze fixed on Billy with a sense of careful analysis.

Marie: "So~ What exactly are you? You're not like any animatronic I've ever seen~."

Billy hesitated, tilting his head slightly.

Billy: "What do you mean? I'm Billy. Billy the Rabbit. The complete improvement of SpringBonnie, an update from the springlock of the 19s, to what I am."

Marie nodded slightly, but Fexa scoffed, crossing her arms.

Fexa: "An update, huh? Then how come you look like you just hopped out of some old pizzeria?"

Billy: "Someone told me where the location was, and I came by myself. I come from Fredbear's PizzaWorld."

Bonfie's ears twitched excitedly as she leaned in.

Bonfie: "Ooooh, so you do come from another place! I knew it!~ But wait—what's with those glowing pupils of yours? They change colors—why's that?"

Billy blinked in surprise.

Billy: "My pupils? I didn't know they could change colors."

The girls collectively blinked, exchanging puzzled looks.

Golden Frenni (muttering): "...H3 dø3sn't 3v3n knøw?"

Marie tapped a finger to her chin in thought, but before she could comment, Frenni stepped in, smirking.

Frenni: "Alright, then. But why were you checking everything earlier? You walked around like you were inspecting the place."

Billy gave a small nod.

Billy: "I wanted to check if everything was in order—cleaned, balanced, in its respective place, and how things should be. It's something I bring with me for the perfect experience of customers."

Chiku raised an eyebrow.

Chiku: "...So you're basically a self-programmed janitor?"

Billy tilted his head, considering the words, but before he could respond, Fexa suddenly burst out laughing.

Fexa: "Pfft—Wait! Wait! No, no, no! We gotta talk about what you pulled at the bar. Why'd you drink that stuff? You're an animatronic, you know that, right?"

Billy hesitated, his voice taking on a thoughtful tone.

Billy: "I wanted to know what that drink was. And yes, I know I am. Why do you ask? Is it because I wasn't supposed to drink whatever that was? I didn't drink it—I spat it back into the glass, then threw it in the kitchen and cleaned the glass. Sorry if I wasn't allowed to try that drink."

Fexa snorted.

Fexa: "That's not the point, dumbass. Why would you even try in the first place?"

Before Billy could answer, Chiku spoke up, clearly more interested in something else entirely.

Chiku: "You said you can cook—what kinda food do you know how to make?"

Billy's pupils flickered briefly before glowing a soft green.

Billy: "Well, I barely cooked in my location, but I know how to cook pizza and prepare birthday cakes. But I can use my programming to grant me every recipe you need."

Chiku crossed her arms, clearly unimpressed.

Chiku: "Hmph. We'll see about that."

Frenni smirked again, her voice teasing.

Frenni: "Are you any good at music? We've got a band here, you know~."

Billy nodded.

Billy: "I am. I'm more used to a guitar, but I also sang many songs."

Frenni's smirk widened.

Frenni: "Ever danced before? Maybe we should teach you a thing or two~."

Billy remained calm, nodding.

Billy: "I know how to dance, don't worry. But maybe I can learn cool moves."

Bonfie let out a giggle, but before she could say anything, Fexa scoffed.

Fexa: "Okay, but do you even know how to have fun, or are you always this serious?"

Billy's expression didn't change, though his pupils pulsed slightly.

Billy: "Of course I do. I constantly make children enjoy every second by many different ways—entertaining them, playing with them… A lot of different ways."

Bonfie, bouncing slightly in excitement, clapped her hands together.

Bonfie: "You bowed to Fexa earlier… Are you always that polite?"

Billy paused for a moment before nodding slightly.

Billy: "No, I'm normally personal and focused on the children. But Foxy is my favorite, and she is like Foxy, so I give it a personal touch of favoritism."

Fexa's ears twitched slightly as she side-eyed him.

Fexa: "Huh. That so?"

Marie smirked slightly, but before she could comment, Frenni playfully nudged Billy's shoulder.

Frenni: "Are you a fighter? You kinda look like one."

Billy blinked, tilting his head.

Billy: "...A what?... What do you mean?... I look like what? What is a fighter?"

The girls stared at him for a moment, before Frenni burst out laughing.

Frenni: "Oh, we have to fix that~."

Golden Frenni, arms crossed, spoke up for the first time in a while.

Golden Frenni: "Wh@t's yøur mød3l? Yøu løøk v!nt@g3, but… n3w @t th3 s@m3 t!m3."

Billy hesitated.

Billy: "...I... don't know?... That doesn't appear in my programming, and... I just see in it the model 'SpringBonnie'... I guess I am a SpringBonnie model? Old one, with a new design, better visually, and improved?..."

Marie's eyes narrowed slightly.

Marie: "Do you run on a battery, or something else?"

Billy shook his head.

Billy: "No, electricity hurts me. I don't need batteries, or any other energy source, but if I want to be always at 100% in terms of energy, I need food."

The girls exchanged glances. That was definitely new.

Bonfie: "Wait, wait—how old are you?"

Billy hesitated, now wondering himself.

Billy: "...Well... I started to be Billy on the 6th of December, 1988... I don't know what date is today, so... Not old?"

Frenni smirked.

Frenni: "You called Golden Frenni a 'burnt star'~ What does that make me?~"

Billy tilted his head.

Billy: "...What do you mean?... I guess the main shiny star?... Golden Frenni looks golden, but as you claimed to be the star, I just tried to motivate her, like I do when a kid had a bad day and needed to feel better. But I'm sure even without being golden, your glow is brighter."

Golden Frenni's blush deepened slightly, and she averted her gaze.

Frenni, on the other hand, grinned.

Frenni: "Are you always this charming, or am I just special?~"

Billy blinked.

Billy: "...I guess?... I think you mean how I am. I'm just myself. Everyone is special, more in their own ways."

Bonfie suddenly grinned mischievously.

Bonfie: "What kinda girls do you like, Billy?~"

Billy hesitated.

Billy: "...What do you mean?... What girls I like?... I don't understand what you mean."

Bonfie giggled.

Bonfie: "Would you rather be stuck in a room with me… or with Fexa?~"

Billy: "Why would I want to be stuck in a room with someone?"

The girls chuckled, but before they could continue, Frenni leaned in with a smirk.

Frenni: "Do you blush? Or does that golden coat of yours hide it well?~"

Billy shook his head.

Billy: "Blush? What is blush?... I eat, drink. I can turn myself off, and use my programming for what I need. I don't have a blush function in my programming."

The girls exchanged glances, intrigued by just how different Billy really was.

Frenni placed a hand on her hip, tilting her head with an amused smirk.

Frenni: "Wait, wait, wait. You don't know what blushing is?"

Billy hesitated for a moment, his pupils flickering slightly as he processed her words.

Billy: "No… So is something you do?... Blushing… How do I… blush?… Did I say that right?…"

There was a brief pause before Frenni chuckled, shaking her head slightly.

Frenni: "Well, shiny. Blushing is something normal~. More if you look at us~."

Billy tilted his head, completely unbothered by her tone.

Billy: "Why? Is blushing something you do? Or is it something you make others do?... When someone comes to enjoy a show, do they blush instead of sitting?..."

The room fell silent. The girls exchanged glances, their expressions ranging from confusion to barely restrained laughter. Was he serious?

Bonfie was the first to recover, and without a second thought, she launched herself at Billy, her boundless energy spilling over as she wrapped her arms around his left arm, hugging it tightly before quickly shifting to his right arm, and then back again. Each time she moved, she pressed herself against him in an exaggerated manner, her ears twitching excitedly as she grinned up at him.

Bonfie: "OHHH MY GOSH, ARE YOU SERIOUS? You really don't know? Are you sure you don't know? You want me to teach you?~ Does this work? Am I blushing you?~"

She practically bounced as she kept shifting around him, clinging to his arms, pressing against his torso, then switching back. The constant movement was clearly meant to fluster him, but Billy simply remained still, tilting his head as he observed her behavior with pure curiosity.

His pupils flickered for a moment—blue shifting slightly, but not changing. Instead of reacting how Bonfie expected, Billy simply nodded, his voice calm and thoughtful.

Billy: "... I… You're very energized… I like that. I'm sure you would make children get tired very easily if you played with them. Some are also very energized, and I'm sure they would love you. More so if you played with them—running around, playing chase, and… any other games to make them tired."

The air shifted. The girls stared, their expectations completely shattered. Bonfie froze mid-bounce, blinking rapidly, her ears twitching in mild confusion.

Frenni snorted, covering her mouth with the back of her hand as she struggled to suppress a laugh.

Chiku sighed, shaking her head. "Wow."

Golden Frenni's blush deepened, but she remained silent, watching Billy with an unreadable expression.

Fexa, who had been leaning against the wall with her arms crossed, let out an amused scoff.

Fexa: "Are you kidding me? He just brushed her off like it was nothing."

Marie simply observed, her expression unreadable.

Bonfie, still hugging Billy's arm, slowly looked up at him, her nose scrunching slightly.

Bonfie: "...You really don't get it, huh?"

Billy blinked, tilting his head again.

Billy: "Get what? Did I miss something?"

The room fell into another stunned silence.

Frenni finally lost it, bursting into laughter.

Frenni: "Ohhhh, this is gonna be fun~."
