Well, strange.
Funnily enough, I wasn't the only one thinking that... My mate also thought likewise.
Although he did ask why I sent them off like that without waiting to hear what they had to say. But I shrugged it off.
It wasn't the right time to tell him things about my weird childhood and how I struggled to blend in like an outsider even though I was the Alpha's son.
I didn't tell him that this wasn't the first time I had gotten a visit like this. It wasn't the second time either... Back in the pack, other clans had visited, claiming that my roots belonged to their community.
Basically, they all wanted a tie with my family so they could pertake in the benefits that came with being related.
To me, this was nothing but an old trick that was not just irritating, but disappointing. I had gotten used to it in some way, otherwise heads and body parts could've been packed out of my territory coming dawn.
