It began on an ordinary evening. The city lights blinked like dying stars against the smog-choked sky. Crowds hurried through the neon streets, unaware that history was taking its final breath.
Above them, unseen by mortal eyes, a fracture tore open across the heavens. From it poured a darkness older than time — a silence so absolute that it devoured the very heartbeat of the world.
They called it the First Collapse.
Those who survived knew better: it wasn't the beginning of the end. It was the end of the beginning.
From the ashes of broken nations, they rose — the Awakened — those whose blood carried ancient powers, forgotten by a world too proud of its machines and concrete empires. Magic, once whispered in myths and nightmares, returned with brutal certainty.
