"Bring in that fighter from yesterday!" King gave the order directly to those outside the door.
Before long, two members of the Beasts Pirates carried in the fighter from yesterday, still wrapped up like a mummy. King waved his hand, and the two of them immediately left the room. After being jostled, the fighter, who'd been sleeping to recover, was woken up by the noise!
"King-sama, what's going on?" The fighter gritted teeth and asked through the pain.
"This thing—this is that miracle medicine you said can make someone recover from grave injuries in an instant, right?" King got straight to the point.
The fighter squinted his eyes, eyeing the senzu bean in King hand closely.
"That's right, King-sama—that's the weird medicine I told you about! No question—I remember it perfectly!" The fighter answered with absolute certainty.
Even so, King, always so wary, wasn't about to test this unknown stuff himself! "Then you try it!" After speaking, King didn't bother being polite and simply shoved the senzu bean directly into the fighter mouth!
The fighter eyes flew wide open in horror! But before either of them could react further, a burst of green light interrupted them! King stared in shock at the changes happening inside the fighter body! The fighter let out a groan of relief. With barely any effort, he tore off the tightly wrapped bandages from his arms! Where once his body was covered in scars and burns, now his skin was completely restored! In a flash, he was bursting with energy again!
King eyes went as wide as eggs in astonishment! What was that? Had he just seen a ghost? A seriously injured guy, completely healed in just a few breaths! Calling that a medical miracle wouldn't be an exaggeration! What the heck is the Whitebeard Pirates' secret? How do they manage to equip everyone with these? What the hell is going on?
"You're dismissed. Make absolutely sure you keep this to yourself!" King massaged his temples and waved the now perfectly healthy fighter away. Watching the fighter bolt out of the room, King gaze was filled with disbelief!
"Looks like I need to report this to the Captain immediately!" King thought. "If they really have a whole bag for each person, then those division commanders—or even Whitebeard Newgate himself—must have one too!" When that happens, their side won't even have a reason to cry.
Without another moment's delay, King spread his wings, carefully safeguarding the entire bag of senzu beans as he flew straight for Onigashima in Wano!

One day later, Onigashima, Wano— Inside the castle, a massive throne towered over the hall! Seated on the throne was a towering, powerfully built man with a pair of horns sticking out of his head! In one hand, he held an enormous, strangely-shaped sake gourd, constantly tipping it back for another drink! This was none other than the so-called Strongest Creature in the World—the Yonko, Kaido of the Beasts!
Queen the Plague and Jack the Drought sat below, drinking and sharing hearty laughs with Kaido. Suddenly, the main doors were shoved open with a bang. Kaido frowned and glanced over, but seeing it was King, he kept silent. After all, King was Kaido most capable officer!
Queen, on the other hand, who'd always clashed with King, just let out a chilly snort. King shot Queen a look without comment, then strode quickly to stand before Kaido throne.
"King, what's going on?" Kaido tipped his head back, downed another big swig, and spoke. "You're in quite a rush—that's not like you."
"Kaido-sama, it's urgent—I have something important to report," King said directly.
"What's the matter?" Kaido asked curiously.
"King, perfect timing—listen to the reports from below!" Queen sneered. "These past few days, fighting the Whitebeard Pirates for territory, our loss rates have gone way up! What sort of patrolling are you doing?"
"Kaido-sama, that's exactly what I came to talk about!" King ignored Queen's attempts to trip him up and addressed Kaido directly. "This is why the Whitebeard Pirates have started winning so much more often lately!" King placed the cloth pouch he'd been holding on the table.
Kaido, Queen, and Jack all leaned in to look at the bag, curious about the bean-like items inside.
"King, are you stupid?" Queen laughed uproariously, chomping on a huge drumstick as he mocked. "A whole bag of peas is the reason we're losing? Is the Whitebeard Pirates' secret weapon just pelting us with these little beans?" Even Kaido looked confused as he stared at the bag of beans.
King knew this was hard to believe, so he simply drew his sword.
"Hey, King, if you've got something to say, just say it!" Queen shouted, thinking King was so angry he was about to fight him. "No need to beat anyone up!"
"Moron." King spat, and, right in front of everyone, brought his sword down hard on his own arm. The sharp steel sliced instantly through King skin, unleashing a gush of blood.
Kaido, Jack, and Queen were all shocked by what they saw! Why was King suddenly hurting himself?
King said nothing, sheathed his blade, grabbed a senzu bean from the cloth pouch, and popped it into his mouth. Everyone watched King odd actions with knitted brows.
"King, just what are you doing?" Kaido asked aloud.
Suddenly, a green glow burst forth from King body. They watched in astonishment as the wound on his arm rapidly healed before their eyes. In less than three seconds, what had just been a cut down to the bone was completely gone—other than the blood still left on his arm, there was no sign King had ever been injured!
Kaido, Jack, and Queen all stared in shock! Even though their natural recovery abilities were top-tier, a wound like that would have taken at least half an hour to heal! And it would have left a scar, too! Yet this miraculous pea had shortened that to just a few seconds! That was almost too unbelievable to be real!
"Kaido-sama, you see what I mean now!" King, thoroughly pleased by the bean results, turned straight to Kaido.
Kaido finally snapped out of his shock and nodded in response.
