Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: Roots in the Earth: Growing Stronger in Hidden Peace

The days rolled by slowly but happily in Holy Soul Village, where sunshine was abundant and family shenanigans were non-stop. Beneath the vast blue sky and among the whispering fields of wheat, the Tang family was just trying to keep it together while also preparing for future greatness.

✨ Inside Tang Yan's Mind: A Comedy of Errors

Deep in the cozy corners of his mind, Tang Yan sat cross-legged, looking like a miniature monk with a very serious face. In front of him swirled shimmering models of energy flows—each one as complex as a toddler's thinking after eating too much candy. He narrowed his eyes at them, trying to will the threads to behave. If only mental energy had the same command as a well-timed nap!

Sweat dripped down his spiritual forehead, and nearby, the System—imagine a holographic cat lounging around—lazily licked its paw like it had no cares in the world.

[Host is currently operating at 2.5 brain cells per second! The world record for babies is confirmed!]

Tang Yan growled internally, *I'm trying to improve synchronization here, you lazy troll!*

The System let out a theatrical laugh and clapped its ethereal paws:

[Baby Genius Tang Yan: Honorable titles include Chief Mischief Officer, King of Mildly Working Techniques, and Future Cringe Emperor!]

Tang Yan ignored it, exhaling slowly as he desperately tried to smooth out his chaotic energy. Little by little, the breathing technique started working—kind of like getting a toddler to clean up their toys… if they ever actually did.

After three long hours (which is like three lifetimes in baby time), a new version of his spiritual technique began to take shape: efficiency increased by 8%, energy loss was slightly reduced, and soul-body synchronization was nearing 36%! Victory was in sight!

The System pretended to wipe away a tear:

[My boy's growing up! From barely surviving to somewhat functional!]

Tang Yan mentally flipped the System off. The System winked back as if to say, "I'm still watching you!"

✨ Outside: Family Frenzy

Meanwhile, life outside was pure chaos in the best way possible. The small house that Tang Hao and Ah Yin built had quickly turned into the village's hot spot. Chickens roamed freely, vegetables were sprouting like they were in a race, and the three-headed puppy mastiff was gleefully chasing after butterflies like it had just discovered its own shadow.

Ah Yin was tending to her garden, blending in spirit herbs among the normal plants as if it were a covert operation. You had to admire her stealth!

Tang Hao was the village lumberjack extraordinaire, chopping wood and hauling heavy beams, earning the quiet respect (and perhaps a bit of jealousy) of his neighbors. He was like the superhero of home improvement, really.

Bi Ji, looking effortlessly radiant, sometimes strolled through the marketplace, picking up supplies and flashing her gentle smiles that could melt glaciers.

And then there was the Tianmeng Ice Silkworm, which was primarily a professional nap-taker—some things never changed!

✨ Tang Yan's Mischief Chronicles

In the midst of this lively scene, baby chaos was king. Tang Yan decided it would be hilarious to sneak up on sleeping Tang Hao and doodle mustaches on his face. As the System nearly fell off its metaphorical chair, it cheered:

[Host! Pranking the Haotian Hammer at age 2? New life goal achieved!]

Unfortunately, Tang Hao woke up mid-stroke, lifting Tang Yan by the scruff like a cat who had just knocked over a priceless vase.

On another day, Tang Yan set up an elaborate "trap" with loose stones along the vegetable path, waiting for poor Bi Ji to be the unwitting victim. But, oh no, fate had other plans; it was Tang San who stumbled upon it first, performing an epic face-plant that would earn him a solid "10" on the clumsiness scale.

Tang San (glaring, with tears in his eyes): "Wuuuuh!"

Ah Yin swooped in like a protective mother hen, scooping Tang San up with a confused but slightly annoyed look directed at Tang Yan. Tang Yan immediately put on his best "who, me?" innocent baby face. The System added helpful subtitles:

[Host's Expression: "Who? Me? Never!" (Certified Liar)]

✨ Tang San's Hilarious Awakening

Tang Yan began to notice some signs that Tang San was starting to awaken. He could stack small rocks like a toddler version of a master builder and often gazed at the sky as if contemplating life's great mysteries—like why does broccoli exist? His babbling suddenly included terms like "paths" and "clans," as if he were in some baby version of a philosophical debate.

One evening, Tang Yan, feeling a mix of curiosity and dread, asked, "System… is he awakening?"

The System yawned theatrically:

[Almost there! Just a few more weeks, and Baby Tang San gets his memory download!]

[First, he'll remember: "I'm a reincarnated human," "Tang Clan's martial skills," and "basic instincts."]

[Detailed past life memories will return slowly over a year—good luck with that sibling rivalry!]

Tang Yan slumped against an imaginary wall. *Great, now I'll have to deal with another big-brain sibling rivalry...*

The System cackled, "Good luck, Host! Remember: you pranked him first. Karma's a baby!"

✨ Peaceful Growth, Hidden Strength

Even though they lived like regular villagers, no one suspected the crazy reality: Tang Hao was a Title Douluo disguised as a lumberjack. Ah Yin was a former spirit beasts masquerading as a simple mother. They had two monster twins, one with twin claws and a hidden potential that could scare even the bravest warriors.

Throw in a 670,000-year-old healing beast princess (that's Bi Ji), a 410,000-year-old war dog puppy guardian, and a million-year-old bug snoozing away in silk nests, and you had yourself an extraordinary family.

Together, under the warm sun and amidst singing fields, they were growing—quietly, patiently, and occasionally with a good dose of humor—preparing for futures so impressive that even the gods might quiver in their celestial shoes.
