Chapter 14 - The Calm Before the Storm

Totto Land, the once-feared dominion of Big Mom, now stood eerily silent under the gray skies. The vibrant candy-colored cities and sentient architecture had fallen into neglect and ruin. With her defeat on Wano, Charlotte Linlin's whereabouts are now unknown. The Blackbeard pirates have taken advantage of her absence to establish a stronghold on one of the islands of Toto land. Strong men from Big Mom pirates like Katakuri and other sweets generals are scattered among various islands of Toto land, scrambling to fend off ambitious pirate invaders, resurfacing former enemies due to Big Mom's absence, and lastly, marines. Without Charlotte Linlin's iron rule, the territory had become a lawless void, a husk awaiting a new master.

Figarland Shamrock stood aboard the flagship of the Holy Land's secret fleet, gazing at the distant shores of Whole Cake Island. His cloak billowed against the salt-laden wind, Cerberus resting at his hip, radiating a bloodthirsty hum.

"So this is Big Mom's legacy," Shamrock mused, his voice like a blade scraping stone. "Pathetic."

Behind him, several CP-0 agents knelt, awaiting orders. They had infiltrated Totto Land long ago, planting spies among the scattered remnants of the Charlotte Family. With absolute loyalty ensured by years of brainwashing, they had prepared the perfect groundwork.

Yet Shamrock knew this would not be a simple plundering mission.

Memory-Memory Fruit: Current Possessor - Charlotte Pudding Dark-Dark Fruit: Current Possessor - Marshall D. Teach

"Pudding is insignificant," Shamrock muttered. "But Teach..."

Blackbeard.

A filthy parasite who had crawled out of obscurity to grasp the power of darkness itself. A man who, like Shamrock, understood that the world was not shaped by ideals but by teeth and claws.

And worse, he has Kuzan, the former Admiral Aokiji, among his ranks now.

"None of the Admirals, former or not are to be underestimated," Shamrock whispered, eyes narrowing. "Kuzan is an ice-cold executioner hidden behind a lazy mask. If left unchecked, even he could cause complications."

Shamrock turned to his assembled forces.

"Prepare the God Knights," he commanded. "And send word to our CP-0 contacts. Tell them to accelerate the investigation into the whereabouts of the Time-Time Fruit."

A CP-0 agent bowed low. "Yes, Lord Shamrock."

He then strode across the deck, each step crackling with the restrained power of his Haki. Already, the ocean itself seemed to resist his approach. Winds howled, waves thrashed violently as if trying to warn him.

He smiled cruelly.

Night fell.

Under the moon, Shamrock's elite strike team descended silently onto Whole Cake Island. Blackbeard's pirates had established a temporary base here, using the ruins of Sweet City as their stronghold.

Scouts reported that Teach himself was present, along with key commanders: Shiryu of the Rain, Van Augur, Lafitte, and of course, Kuzan.

"Perfect," Shamrock said, licking his lips with anticipation.

In his mind, he reviewed his strategy:

Pudding must be captured alive.

Teach must be slain and the Dark-Dark Fruit seized.

Kuzan must be neutralized immediately. A former Admiral's ice powers were too dangerous to leave unchecked.

Tonight, another Yonko would fall.

"Begin," Shamrock ordered.

And so the night erupted into chaos.

The initial strike was swift and brutal.

Explosions tore through Sweet City, flattening entire districts within seconds. Blackbeard's pirates scrambled, shouting orders, firing wildly into the darkness. But against Shamrock's God Knights, mere confusion was fatal.

A massive pillar of ice erupted as Kuzan stepped onto the battlefield, eyes cold, arms crossed.

"Heh... Great Commander of the God's Knights," Kuzan muttered, frost condensing around him. "Didn't expect you to show your face here personally."

Shamrock stepped from the shadows, his black Haki igniting around him, each step shattering the frozen ground.

"Kuzan," he replied. "Still pretending to be lazy while plotting betrayal?"

Kuzan shrugged. "I'm just here for my own reasons. Not much of a hero these days."

"Then, die!" Shamrock said, unsheathing Cerberus.

The clash was immediate.

Haki burst forth, colliding mid-air with such force that the earth cracked and the sky twisted into a maelstrom of darkness and ice.

Entire city blocks vaporized.

Water froze instantly under Kuzan's domain, only to be shattered and burned away by Shamrock's Conqueror Haki.

Every strike was an apocalypse. The environment, buildings, rivers, even the air itself could not withstand the monstrous forces at play.

Elsewhere, Blackbeard's commanders engaged Shamrock's loyal God Knights. Shiryu's invisible strikes clashed against reinforced Armament Haki. Van Augur's sniping was countered by precognition-enhanced CP-0 agents.

Yet despite the chaos, Shamrock's mind remained razor-focused.

[Objective 1: Secure Memory-Memory Fruit] [Objective 2: Kill Marshall D. Teach]

And in the darkness beyond the battlefield, Charlotte Pudding fled, clutching her head in terror, unaware that even fleeing was impossible under Shamrock's gaze.
