Chapter 18 - Blood and Darkness

The battlefield was a broken, frozen hell.

Totto Land, once a colorful paradise, had been reduced to a desolate wasteland of shattered ice and crumbling earth. The sky twisted above in blackened spirals, rumbling under the weight of unleashed power.

Amidst it all, Figarland Shamrock stood alone. Cerberus the living blade clutched loosely in his right hand, its three-head hungrily howling at the devastation surrounding them.

Kuzan and Blackbeard were battered, bloodied, and gasping for breath.

They tried, in desperation, to rally.

Blackbeard summoned a vast black sphere of gravity again, dragging everything toward him. Stone, ice, bodies of the fallen, the very light itself. Kuzan staggered forward, encasing his body in layers of reinforced ice, steeling himself for one final suicidal assault.

But Shamrock's cold eyes watched them without a ripple of emotion.

No mercy.

No escape.

He struck.

A single step and he vanished.

Reappearing between the two, he moved like inevitability itself. His blade flashed in three devastating arcs. Each one vibrating with black lightning and layered Conqueror's Haki.

Kuzan barely raised his arms to defend, but it was meaningless.

Cerberus sheared through his defenses, cleaving into his chest with a sickening crunch. Blood burst from his mouth as the impact shattered his frozen armor and crushed his heart in a single stroke.

Kuzan's body crumpled, the life fading from his eyes as he fell into the shattered ice.

Aokiji, the former Admiral of the Marines, was dead.

Blackbeard roared in horror and rage.

"ZEHAHAHA! YOU DAMN MONSTER—!!"

He lunged, darkness surging, trying to pull Shamrock into a gravitational trap once more.

But Shamrock anticipated it.

With cold precision, he unleashed Cerberus.

The triple-headed blade roared as it tore through the darkness, slicing into Blackbeard's side. The man screamed, stumbling back, clutching his mangled flesh.

Shamrock did not give him a second to breathe.

He pressed the attack, haki flooding his limbs and weapon. Every strike cracked the ground, collapsed the air, shook the sky.

Blackbeard, bleeding heavily and unable to fully nullify Shamrock's monstrous haki, realized he was utterly outclassed. His desperate attempts to absorb the attacks with his Devil Fruit only accelerated his doom. The Yami Yami no Mi, for all its hunger, could not consume this level of raw destruction fast enough.

The final blow came swift and brutal.

Cerberus pierced Blackbeard's chest, locking him in place.

Darkness bled from Blackbeard's body, spiraling into the sword itself. His screams echoed across the ruined islands as Cerberus activated its true ability, the consumption of soul, flesh, and fruit alike.

Blackbeard's body convulsed violently.

"NO—! WAIT—!! I...I can still...!"

The plea was crushed under Shamrock's merciless will.

The Cerberus blade feasted, devouring Blackbeard's life force and the very essence of the Yami Yami no Mi.

The mighty Marshall D. Teach, Blackbeard, the man who dared to dream of becoming King of the World was reduced to ash and bone, scattered in the cold wind of Totto Land.

Silence fell.

Shamrock withdrew Cerberus, which now pulsed with a deep, bottomless blackness, the power of darkness newly integrated into its core, now fully under his control.

The world seemed to hold its breath.

Shamrock stood amidst the carnage, his figure bathed in darkness and light, an entity that transcended mortal strength.

The Mythical Cerberus and by extension, himself now possessed the power of absolute darkness.

Calmly, he turned his gaze toward the distant horizon.

Without a word, Figarland Shamrock walked away from the battlefield, leaving only destruction and death in his wake.
