Chapter 3 - Episode 3 - The Battle Against the Monster

The Battle BeginsThe fight between Sang-Jaey and the Humankind Monster escalates beyond human limits. Dr. Kwan, the remaining scientists, and the school members are in shock as they witness Sang-Jaey keeping up with the monster, moving at speeds beyond comprehension. However, one scientist notices their battle is drawing dangerously close to the lab where the spell is kept. Fearing the worst, he rushes to the lab, grabs the spell, and runs back toward his colleagues. As he approaches Sang-Jaey, the spell starts reacting violently.

Sang-Jaey's Struggle and the Scientist's DiscoveryMeanwhile, Dr. Shine finally receives the results of his research on the rare blood. Excited, he rushes to inform his colleagues but finds the lab empty. Searching everywhere, he remains unaware of the ongoing battle outside.

Sang-Jaey, now exhausted, begins to struggle against the monster. Seizing the opportunity, the monster lands a devastating blow, sending him flying and severely injuring him—his skin torn, his body battered. Despite the pain, he stands up once more.

The Spell Reacts and a Hidden Power AwakensThe scientist carrying the spell nears Sang-Jaey, and the spell reacts so violently that he can no longer hold it. The spell falls to the ground. Just as the monster prepares to strike the final blow, Sang-Jaey instinctively grabs its hand. Suddenly, his lost eye, covered in blood, opens, and his eyes begin changing color.

The monster hesitates, fear creeping into its expression. It seems to recognize something—or someone. Taking advantage of the monster's confusion, Sang-Jaey unleashes his full potential, delivering a powerful punch that leaves the monster half-dead.

Dr. Shine's Revelation and the Storm's ArrivalAt the same moment, Dr. Shine finally finds the other scientists outside and shouts, "I found him!" The exhausted Sang-Jaey sees the spell and slowly walks toward it but collapses midway.

The other scientists turn to Dr. Shine and demand to know what he discovered. He reveals that the results showed only two people in the world have this rare blood: an old man over 100 years old and a teenage boy. Disappointed, the scientists assume the search was fruitless. But when one of them asks who the teenager is, Dr. Shine counters with his own question: "Who is the boy lying on the ground?"

Realization strikes, and the scientists confirm that Sang-Jaey is the one who fought the monster. Dr. Shine demands to see his face. When they turn him over, he is stunned and exclaims that Sang-Jaey is the one with the rare blood.

At that very moment, a storm strikes. Lightning ignites a tree, setting the surroundings ablaze. As rain begins to fall, it washes the dirt and blood from Sang-Jaey's face—revealing a mysterious symbol on his cheek.
