Riana, with a black circles beneath his blue eyes, nonchallanly said that after received her Adventurer card and be told by the receptionist lady to gather along with others newly avowed Adventurers to listen to this branch's Guildmaster's speech.
She already in a foul mood after tonight's overslept slaughter. How can she had spared energy to listen to the speech of a random old man?
Well, maybe she's older than that man and the man was in the age of her grandchild if she ever had one, but that's not the point here!

Dionnardo was a chill and cool man.
At least, that was his way of view to himself.
He was once a second class Adventurer before retired and takehold the position of Guildmaster at this town.
He had a wife, lovely and gorgeous.
He also had a daughter, a very cute one.
He was a kind of a happy cool middle-aged man.

Re-arranging his posture, Dionnardo finally take a step to face the new bunch of young Adventurer.

Rert looked at the crowd of young Adventurers around his age at his surrounding in awe, before looked at his side, to the fawning Riana, and for some reason lose the tension.
Riana currently is sitting at the side of the podium builded at the front of the training field, munching something she take from a little paper bag.
"Um... Lady. What's that?" Rert asked, in his head questioning himself as to why he called Riana as 'Lady'.
Riana stopped munching absent-mindedly when she heard him.
"Oh, this?" She raised the paper bag, "Well, I dunno."
"Eh?" Rert widened his eyes.
"I get it from Sunsmile inn kitchen, you see. It's look like a fried dried meat or something... Oh well, just trying to find some midnight snack. What, you wanna try?" Riana expained and asked, offering the paper bag.
But Rert shooked his head and rejected politely.
"I prefer fruity snacks, honestly..."
"My, is that so? That's unfortunate."

Rert couldn't help questioned to himself as he recall what Riana said to how she got her snack.
While Rert pondering, the young Adventurers suddenly quieted down.

Rert quickly turned around to see at the direction where the young Adventurers looked at.
There, walked with a calm smile and his hands nonchalantly put at his pockets, was a shaved bearded cool burly middle-aged man.
So strong!
Even from this distance, Rert can feel how strong the man is.
He was the strongest he ever met.
And he was just only a Guildmaster of this small town.
When Rert remember how far, so far stronger Hero Theo is if compared to any humans, he realized just how far away his goal was.
The excitement and desire to start the quest and become stronger right away is surging once more inside him.
He can't wait to really become an Adventurer!
The Guildmaster was walking straight to the podium, so Rert immediately stepped back to where the crowd lined up.
Every young Adventurer already lined up... Except a certain girl.
Rert immediately panicked as he looked at the girl.

Now, what unfolded in front of the young Adventurers was a scene where the Guildmaster and a stunningly beautiful white-haired, blue-eyed girl, looked at each other silently.
Only gulping sounds of the young Adventurers and the munching sound of the white-haired girl can be heard.

The young Adventurers gulped again.
After a minute, the Guildmaster eventually asked. "Why are you snacking?"
And what the girl's reponse was.
"It can't be helped."

"Because I am hungry."
"Why?"
"Ah, stop asking. It's irritating. What, was snacking prohibited?"
