As Shupeal's ship sailed away, Drakon's gaze followed it, his eyes still locked on the pirate captain. Suddenly, he noticed the Roc bird's behavior change. The bird's eyes were fixed intently on Shupeal's ship, and it let out a series of excited squawks. Drakon's curiosity was piqued, and he watched as the bird's agitation grew. That's when he saw Ann, the blue-haired girl, tackle Shupeal from behind, wrapping her arms around his waist and bringing him crashing to the deck.
The Roc bird's reaction was instantaneous. It let out a triumphant screech and flapped its wings wildly, as if celebrating Ann's actions. Drakon's eyes widened in realization as he connected the dots. The bird's behavior, Ann's relationship with Shupeal... it all made sense now. "Ah, I see," Drakon said to himself, a smile spreading across his face. "You're the bird's owner, aren't you?"
The Roc bird's antics made perfect sense now. Its behavior was linked to Ann's presence, and it had been protecting her interests by defending itself against the pirates. Drakon's respect for the bird grew, and he felt a sense of admiration for Ann's bravery. As Shupeal's ship disappeared into the distance, Drakon turned to Ann, who was still wrestling with the pirate captain. "Looks like you've got things under control," he said with a grin. "But just in case, I'll lend a hand."
With a nod, Drakon uses his water water fruit powers to raise his ship upwards and land it on Shupeal's ship, ready to join the fray and help Ann take down the pirate captain once and for all. "What, you're a devil fruit user ?." Asked Shupeal being pinned down by Ann Drakon smiled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "You have no idea what I'm capable of, Shupeal. But you're about to find out."
With a swift motion, Drakon leapt from his ship onto Shupeal's deck, his movements fluid and effortless. Ann looked up at him, a hint of surprise in her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure. Shupeal muscleed his way out of Ann's hold, his face twisted in a snarl. "You think you can take me down? I'll show you what a real pirate looks like!" he bellowed, charging towards Drakon. Drakon stood firm, his eyes locked on Shupeal. "Bring it on," he said, cracking his knuckles.
The two clashed in a flurry of punches and kicks, their movements lightning-fast as they battled across the deck. Shupeal was a formidable opponent, but Drakon was determined to take him down. The fight raged on, with neither side giving an inch. Shupeal's brute strength was matched by Drakon's agility and quick reflexes. The two combatants exchanged blows, each one landing with precision and force. Ann watched the battle with interest, her eyes fixed on Drakon as he fought with skill and precision. She knew she had underestimated him earlier, but now she saw him in a new light. The Roc bird, sensing the intensity of the battle, let out a loud screech and flapped its wings, as if urging Drakon on. Shupeal stumbled back, his eyes flashing with anger, but Drakon pressed his advantage, unleashing a series of swift kicks and punches that sent Shupeal crashing to the deck. As Shupeal struggled to get back to his feet, Drakon pinned him down, his knee pressed firmly into the pirate captain's chest. "It's over," Drakon said, his voice cold and deadly. Shupeal glared up at Drakon, his eyes filled with hatred and defeat. Shupeal's eyes gleamed with desperation as he reached out to Drakon, his hand glowing with a strange, pulsating energy. "Hax Time!" he shouted, attempting to place a hex on Drakon.
But to Shupeal's surprise, nothing happened. Drakon's expression remained unchanged, and he didn't seem to be affected by the hex. Shupeal's eyes widened in confusion as he realized that something was off. That's when he noticed that Drakon's body seemed to be... shifting. His limbs were rippling and flowing like water, and his face was slightly distorted. Suddenly, it clicked. The "Drakon" he was fighting wasn't the real Drakon at all. It was a clone made of sea water, created using Drakon's Water Water Fruit powers. The clone dissipated into nothingness, revealing the real Drakon standing a short distance away, a sly smile on his face. "You should have seen that coming," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement.
Shupeal's face twisted in rage and frustration as he realized he'd been outsmarted. He struggled against Drakon's grip, but it was too late. The pirate captain was at Drakon's mercy, and he knew it. "You win this time," he spat."
Together, Drakon and Ann pinned Shupeal to the deck, their combined strength overpowering the pirate captain. Shupeal struggled and cursed, but he was no match for the duo. "You two are a formidable team, I'll give you that," Shupeal spat, his face twisted in anger. "But you'll never get away with this. My crew will—" Drakon cut him off, his voice cold and deadly. "Your crew is scattered, Shupeal. And even if they weren't, I doubt they'd be able to take me on." With a swift motion, Drakon reached into his pocket and pulled out a length of rope, binding Shupeal's wrists and ankles. "You're not going anywhere, Shupeal." Ann stood up, her eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "Thanks for the assist, I'm Ann."
"Don't mention it, the names Drakon." He responded nonchalantly. "Now than, care to explain why this guy was after your bird?" He asked. Ann's eyes welled up with tears as she recounted the tragic events. "His name is Balloon, and Shupeal wanted his blood because it supposedly enhances the powers of his Hax Hax Fruit," she explained, her voice trembling. Drakon's expression turned somber as Ann's emotions poured out. "He came to my village, demanding Balloon's whereabouts," Ann continued, her words spilling out in a rush. "The villagers tried to reason with him, but he...he slaughtered them all." Ann's body shook with sobs, and Drakon's demeanor softened. He offered her a gentle nod, his eyes filled with understanding. "I'm sorry you had to go through that," he said softly. Ann took a deep breath, composing herself. "Balloon saved me, and that's when Shupeal injured him. I told Balloon to leave me behind, but he refused to abandon me."
Drakon's gaze fell upon the Roc bird, now perched calmly beside Ann. "It seems Balloon is more than just a bird to you," he observed, his voice filled with empathy. Ann nodded, her eyes shining with tears. "He's my friend, my family. I'll do anything to protect him."
A look of disgust fell upon Drakons face as he looked at Shupeal. "...You used innocent villagers as leverage to get to Balloon," Drakon said, his voice dripping with contempt. "You're not just a pirate, you're a monster." Shupeal sneered, but Drakon's words struck a chord. For a moment, a flicker of unease crossed his face before he regained his composure.
"You're one to talk," Shupeal spat. "You don't know what it's like to be in my shoes, to do whatever it takes to survive." Drakon's expression didn't change, but his eyes seemed to bore into Shupeal's very soul. "I don't need to know what it's like to be you," he said coldly. "What I do know is that you're going down for your crimes." Drakon smiled nonchalantly. "As of four days ago, I became a criminal, and since I'm on the sea, I guess that means I'm a pirate now," he said, his tone lighthearted. "And what does the law of pirates say about two ships who don't belong under the same flag? They fight, and the winner takes the other guy's belongings, right?"
"Don't make me laugh, you a pirate? You're just some kid who got lucky by eating a devil fruit. What's your bounty? I bet you don't even have one yet." Said Shupeal in rage
"My bounty , huh. Well, it's 75 million berries." Ann's eyes widened in shock as Drakon casually dropped his bounty. "75 million berries?" she repeated, stunned. Shupeal's face turned pale, and even Balloon let out a startled squawk. Shupeal's eyes bulged in surprise. "So, you're telling me that you are him, you're 'the Sea Blade'?" he stammered, his voice laced with a mix of fear and awe. With a wave of his hand, Drakon turned to Ann and Balloon. "Hey, Ann. I want you to load my ship with any valuable stuff you can find. You help too, Balloon." The Roc bird let out a mighty screech, as if eager to get started on the task. Ann nodded, still looking stunned from Drakon's revelation. Together, they set to work plundering Shupeal's ship, while Shupeal himself seethed with anger and frustration. "Hey, you think you're some kind of pirate just because you've got a high bounty? You're just some kid who got lucky by eating a Devil Fruit," he sneered as his voice was slowly fading from the distance.
