As I was walking to the hyperloop with Amin, ready for the start of the year.
"I wonder how classes are gonna be." Amin said as a faint glimmer of curiosity showed on his usually stoic face.
"Since when were you so intrested in classes?" I asked raising my eyebrow
"It's gonna be interesting because of the students." He said, as a faint teasing smirk crept up his face.
Cutting off our conversation was someone with black hair as dark as the night sky, his eyes were as gold as the sun itself and I felt like they were practically glowing.
Kael Thorne, the protagonist of my game, The magic swordsman, and the brother of Amin Thorne.
His smirk immediately disappeared as he said "Hey Kael…" as a faint glimmer of something unreadable showed on his face, quickly disappearing as soon as it came.
"Hey Ami." Kael said, with a smile brighting his stupidly handsome face making it somehow more handsome.
"And you are?" Kael said as he looked toward me.
"I'm Nyrix, rank 2." I said watching as Kael's eyes suddenly gleam with interest.
"You THE Nyrix, the same one who, without an aspect manged to get here and become rank 2?"
"Yes I am that Nyrix." I said, as I kept my face neutral masking all emotions I could think of.
Kael started talking and walked with us to the hyperloop to start the first semester.
As we were walking I saw Selena Duskwalker, one of the main cast.
Selena saw us and started walking towards us for some reason.
"Hello Nyrix, Thornes." Selena said as she pushed back a strand of her silver hair that shined just like the moon, her blue eyes that shone like the ocean stared at me.
According to Nyrix's memory he had know Selena since childhood and they were good friends, he was the only person she trusted the most other than her family.
"Hey Sel." I said waving at her as she barged in between me and Amin.
"Oi, what the hell are you doing." Amin said clearly not to happy at how she stood between us.
"You know Selena!?" Kael said, his molten golden eyes opened wide slightly as he stared at me.
"We are childhood friends." I said shrugging him off.
"The ice princess is your childhood friend?!" He said but before I could answer I heard the hyperloops soft hum caress my ears.
"The hyperloops here." Amin said grabbing me a little farther away from him as we walking into the hyperloop.
The hyperloop was a mana infused futuristic train that was a quick and efficient way of transportation, what normally would've taken hours would now take a few minutes to get there.
The hyperloop was packed with students from various classes and years.
As soon as we walked in the talks died down and whispers began to start as everyone started at us, more specifically me, Kael, and Selena.
We were class A which not many people saw since only 10 students were in class a, 2 more are coming at the end of the semester so 12 students.
Kael was famous because of his ridiculous overpowered aspect, but Nyrix?
He was famous for having no aspect and a slow growth rate.
But because I'm from a duke household, no one dares mess with Nyrix.
Selena was probably the most beautiful girl the school has ever seen, which attracted many stares from men and women alike.
Ignoring the stares with practiced efficiency I turned to Selena and Amin and started lightheartedly talking with them.
As the hyperloop smoothly stopped near the school the students walked out and head to the auditorium, where the principal and teachers will hold an announcement about the semester.
'Haa, after we leave the auditorium it will be the start of the first semester.' Lets see if all that practice paid off.
