Chapter 2 - Synchronization

I wondered how I knew that when I've never seen this character.

But before I could ponder on it I heard a voice.

[SYNCHRONIZATION COMPLETE]

"Synchronization?" I asked aloud.

[USERS MEMORIES HAVE BEEN RESTORED]

'The original body's memories?'

This will definitely help me going forward now that I know things that I never knew, like how to use mana, and characters I've never seen.

But before I could go over the memories time started to start moving again.

"You okay nyrix?" Amin said his black eyes as empty as the void.

"Yea Min I'm fine, I just took a nap and lost track of time." I said, as Amin's unreadable expression buried the faint glimmer of worry I saw.

"Haa I told you not to stay up training." Amin said as I tried and failed to see through his unreadable expression.

"It's easy for you to say you talented bastard."

Amin was the 3rd strongest student among first years, while I was second, the protagonist obviously being first.

"If you wanna train so bad why don't we spar?" Amin said

Before I could answer the system popped up.

'Thorne…' Thorne was one of the 3 duchys along side Varn and the Duskwalkers.

Each representing their family specialties.

Varn the sword of the king, Thorne the wand of the king, and Duskwalkers the assassins who prevail in darkness.

He also happens to be the protagonists brother Kael Thorne.

"Maybe later I'm still a little groggy." I said trying to avoid fighting.

"Alright, but don't be late we have classes tomorrow." He said as I started internally panicking.

The academy was at its first semester and it started tomorrow.

"Alright I'll see you in class tomorrow." He said as he walked out the dorm.

"Haa, I'll have to get used to this body before I can fight with the main cast." I said still not used to being in this world.

The dorms were amazing to say the least, the Ophelia dorms must of cost a ton of money.

The dorms were ranked from highest to lowest, Ophelia, Baron, Dusk, and Wolf.

Ophelia belonging to class A students which were very few.

The dorms were equipped with a personal training room for students uses.

I walked over to the training room in my dorm, opening the door I saw a huge training room with all sorts of expensive tools made out of orcium, the hardest substance in this world.

As I shook off the last remnants of sleepiness I had, I began to pick up a practice sword.

"Time to train."
