Location: Royal Academy - After the Battle
The arena lay in ruins.
But Kael stood at its center — surrounded by his companions — his aura finally unsealed for the world to see.
"He's a monster..." whispered a noble.
"No, he's our kingdom's only hope now," muttered another.
The Headmaster, an old mage who had remained neutral until now, stepped forward, bowing deeply.
"Prince Kael. On behalf of the Royal Academy… we thank you for saving us all."
The entire school — students, professors, knights — knelt.
Kael's heart twisted strangely.
He wasn't used to being thanked.
Audience with the King
Two days later, Kael and his team were summoned to the royal palace.
The golden throne room glittered with magic.
King Elarion sat at the top — a man who had once ignored Kael's existence, now staring at him as if seeing him for the first time.
The nobles whispered furiously around the hall.
"Is that really the First Prince?"
"He's awakened... something terrifying."
"He could be a threat to the throne."
The King finally spoke:
"Kael Elarion Veyr. First Son of the Crown. You have defended our people when we were most vulnerable."
A long pause.
"For your actions, I hereby elevate you to Crown Prince once more."
The crowd gasped.
Some cheered.
Others glared.
Kael's half-brother, the Second Prince, clenched his fists until blood dripped from his palms.
Kael smiled slightly.
Crown Prince? You're too late. I don't need your throne anymore.
Rewards for the Harem
Each of Kael's companions also received titles and rewards:
Velcia was granted the title Flame Duchess and a private fortress at the southern border.
Zara was named Guardian Commander — a post usually reserved for battle-hardened generals.
Mira and Rayna were offered noble ranks and vast lands (they both refused, staying at Kael's side).
Selene received the royal Hunter's Sigil, an honor given only once every century.
Evelyne was appointed Royal Scholar of Forbidden Arts — essentially the kingdom's top magical researcher.
Ishira remained silent in the court — her presence alone making the nobles tremble.
The court officially recognized them as Kael's official personal guard — though everyone knew the truth:
They were more than that. They were his companions. His future queens.
Behind the Scenes: New Threats Stir
As Kael left the palace, a black-robed figure watched from the shadows.
"The Fallen Gods are stirring. The Child of Ruin is awakening faster than we expected."
Far beyond the kingdom, in the Twilight Isles, a council of exiled gods gathered.
They slammed their fists against the celestial table.
"Kill him before he regains full power."
"No," whispered the oldest god. "We must use him."
"For if Kael Elarion Veyr rises unchecked...""...then the Age of the Gods will end."
Kael's Reflection
That night, standing atop the Academy's broken spire, Kael stared at the stars.
Ishira landed beside him, her wing brushing against his.
"You're thinking too much," she said softly.
"Old habit," Kael replied.
She smiled.
"No matter what happens next...You won't be alone anymore."
Down below, his companions laughed around a fire.
Velcia throwing drinks.Zara challenging Mira to a fight.Selene reading spells upside-down.Rayna singing.Evelyne sketching a magic circle in the air.
For the first time in countless lives...
Kael felt hope.
