Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: "The Black Dawn Assault"

Location: Royal Academy Arena — After Kael's Return

The ground still trembled where Kael landed.

Across the shattered arena, the Black Dawn Cultists assembled — masked figures, their auras twisted by forbidden divine pacts.

The audience froze in terror.

"Why are they here?!"

"This was supposed to be a school tournament!"

The Headmaster tried to erect a barrier around the students — but the cultists simply tore through it like paper.

Team Kael's Response

Kael didn't move immediately.

He watched.

Measured.

Waiting.

Velcia whispered beside him, "Give the word."

Zara spun her spear.

Mira melted into the shadows.

Selene nocked three glowing arrows at once.

Evelyne closed her book, eyes glowing. "I've seen every ending... and they all start with your victory."

Kael smiled.

"Destroy them."

The Battle Breaks Out

The cultists charged.

Inhuman. Savage. Each one carrying cursed weapons designed to kill gods.

Zara led the charge — her spear shattered mountains of stone.

Mira assassinated five cultists before they even blinked.

Selene's arrows rained light down like divine punishment.

Rayna created electric storms, trapping dozens.

And in the center of it all —Kael walked calmly forward.

A cult leader, ten times Kael's size, roared and swung a cursed axe at him.

Kael caught it with two fingers.

CRACK!

The axe shattered into dust.

Kael's aura surged, no longer mortal—but something ancient, raw, divine.

The Betrayal

Suddenly—

From within the academy's own security forces, several knights turned.

Their armor melted away, revealing the Black Dawn sigils beneath.

One of the royal knights stepped toward Kael.

"First Prince Kael... it would have been better if you had stayed forgotten."

He stabbed forward.

Kael didn't dodge.

Instead, he raised a hand—and the knight exploded into ash before even reaching him.

"You think betrayal surprises me?" Kael said coldly."I've lived long enough to watch stars betray their own suns."

The cultists hesitated now.

Fear.

They realized they had awakened something far worse than the god they feared.

Ishira's Arrival

From the sky, Ishira descended — her black wing flaring, her silver hair wild.

She unleashed her own magic — Chains of Fate — binding the escaping cultists.

"No more running," she whispered.

Standing at Kael's side, she gave a small, shy smile.

"I belong here. With you."

Kael nodded.

The Tide Turns

Kael raised his hand high.

An ancient symbol—the Mark of the Forbidden Savior—blazed in the sky.

"You wanted a god?" Kael said, his voice shaking the world."You found one."

The earth split.

The cultists screamed as reality itself began to collapse around them.

Velcia, Zara, Mira, Rayna, Selene, Evelyne, Ishira —Kael's entire team moved as one unstoppable force, wiping the Black Dawn off the map.

Aftermath

The arena was rubble.

The audience — silent.

And then… slowly… cheers began.

"Kael! Kael! Kael!"

For the first time, the world saw Kael Elarion Veyr — not as the powerless prince.

But as the rising god who would shatter destiny itself.
