The carriage rattled through a silent forest.
Two knights sat across from Ren, weapons unsheathed, eyes never leaving him. They weren't guards—they were prison wardens in polished armor.

Ren stared out the barred window, watching trees blur by.
The capital loomed in the distance. Beyond it, a towering obsidian spire rose into the sky—Veldras Arcanum, the legendary Academy of Divine Arts.
"It's tradition," one knight said. "Every summoned hero is sent there to be trained."
The other scoffed. "He's not a hero. He's a liability."
A day later…
Ren stood at the academy gates.
The students whispered as he passed—robes rustled, enchanted familiars floated around them. Banners of the gods hung above the archways, but none bore the sigil of the Void.

A voice called out, smug and sharp:"Looks like the mistake finally arrived."
Ren turned.
A silver-haired boy in regal attire stepped forward, flanked by other elite-looking students. His crest glowed with Divine-Class energy.
"Auron Velcrest," he introduced himself. "Chosen of the Sun God. Top-ranked first-year. And the one who'll make sure you don't disgrace this academy."
Ren's smile was cold."I've already been discarded by gods. I don't care about impressing their pets."
