The woman said, " Please follow me, I'll lead you to the courtroom."
Everyone in the room followed her. She looks like a servant.
She led us to the courtroom, and as soon as we reached, she left.
The king was sitting on a throne. A pope was standing near the king. All the village's chiefs were there too. My father was also there.
The king started speaking, " We want to inform all of you that you have been chosen as the heroes to defeat the demon lord."
Us? But why?
The pope, who was just standing silent, continued, " Just tomorrow, a prophecy was told that those who have lost memories have been chosen as the heroes by the goddess."
" Why would we trust it? We don't know anything about fighting." One of us said.
" Are you doubting us?" the king said. " Those who dare to defy will be punished," he continued.
Not one of us dares to defy it.
The pope said, " Looks like everyone agrees, but first we need to pray to the goddess."
We were all led to the prayer room. In front, there was a statue. Maybe it was of the goddess.
We all kneel in front of the statue. The King and the others left the room. And close the room.
I thought it was useless, but when I opened my eyes, the room was gone. Everything turned white.
We were the only ones here. A godly figure appears. Her face was covered with a white cloth. She wore dress only in white dress.
A small creature also appeared with her. It looks so fluffy.
She then started speaking, " You are all chosen as the heroes. I was the one who summoned you all here. You have to defeat the demon lord."
" Why do we have to do it?" One of us said.
The little creature spoke, " If we hadn't summoned you here, you all would have been dead."
Dead. They were the ones who summoned us here. Why would we be the ones to die?
The figure said, " You were all about to die before I summoned you here."
" Can't we go back home?" One asked.
" I'll send you all home if the demon lord is defeated." She answered.
We were not sure how to deal with this situation. There is a chance we might die while fighting the demon lord.
When I carefully look at her, I see that she looks so different from the statue. I asked, " Are you the goddess?"
She answered, " No, I'm just an angel. I was the one who sealed the demon lord."
" But how would we defeat him?" One said.
She said, " I have granted each of you the ability to use magic. You just have to find out how? No weapon can harm the demon lord; magic can cause harm to him, but if you want to destroy him completely, you must acquire the legendary sword."
Before any of us could say anything else. She brought us back to the prayer room. We open the door of the room.
The kings and others were outside waiting for us.
The King said, " We will start your training from tomorrow, all of you are staying here until the training is complete," and left.
I was sitting in my room. Furball climbs into my lab and starts playing.
I was sure of defeating the demon lord and going home. But how do I find the legendary sword?
Just before the dinner, the pope came to us and said, " In order to defeat the demon, you need to acquire the legendary sword, but no one knows where to find it. So you have to figure it out yourself."
He left after saying that. I saw Ryker, which reminded me of Leina's warning. I was curious about what his deal was.

His daughter introduced herself, " My name is Tamphasana. I hope I will be of some help."
She was very pretty. After his father left. She directly went to Ryker and started a conversation. She was fawning over him.
What just happened? I was a little bit annoyed.
After having a conversation for some time, we all left to rest.
I tried to sleep but couldn't. I got up, it was late at night. I sneaked out and went to the prayer room.
I pray, and when I open my eyes. The angel was in front of me.
She asked, " Do you want to say something?"
" There are a bunch of questions I want to ask, but I'll start with the important one," I replied. " How do I find this legendary sword?"
She replied, " You have to figure that out on your own, but let me tell you something: that sword is not something someone can easily wield. Only a certain person can wield it. And beware, it is a dangerous sword."

It was a boy. He was struggling to get out of his grasp.
Ryker looked back and saw me. He let that person go. The person ran away without even looking back.
He walked towards me and said, " If you keep it quiet, I'll keep you alive." He looks threatening.
I asked, " Do you mean not killing me or protecting me?"
I know he was threatening me, but why did it blurt out of my mouth? You stupid Laija.
" Both." He answered, smiling.
" Why did you do it? Why were you hurting him?" I asked.
He answered," If someone wants to stay alive, they need to learn to hunt."
He left after that. He looks like someone who have suffered but is the thing he is doing good. It is the first time his blue eyes have ever scared me.
I knew now why Leina tried to warn me about him.
I also left for my room. I couldn't sleep that night. I got out my blue necklace and looked at it. Strangely, it reminds me of him.
