"What do you want from me"
"Maraian I want you to come back home I really miss you very much you made very scared thinking that something bad had happened to you"
"I'm not coming back if that's what you came here to make me do leave me alone and let me be"she rudely said " Maraian I no that what I did was wrong but that doesn't mean that I'm going to end this between us I cheated but I said sorry but I don't know what you want me to do that will change your mind about me" "I know I'm not suppose to say this but please I'm begging come back I'm tired of begging you to come back to me" I'm stating again that I know what I did was wrong but we are married and things like this can be sorted out "
." I'm not ready to forgive you okay if that's what you think then no please get out of my house" " I just want you to know that I'm really sorry sorry for everything that happened to us and everything." Please leave okay". "Just take of yourself for me okay. I stood up and opened the door to let him leave but he held my hand and kissed me the tears I was trying to hold were all going down I and I didn't feel well at all because of it" i hugged him tightly not wanting to let him go at all then I realised what I was doing.
I pulled out of the embrace not wanting to cause any harm to this shattered relationship. " Can I have a kiss if you don't mind" "I didn't mind but I'm sure he took that as a yes and kissed me on my lips I withheld the pain of betrayal and kissed him back. After what felt like hours I pulled back and hugged him again. I was the one begging him to leave but it felt vice versa, I didn't want to leave this marriage but I was afraid of not being able to love him back. " I'll tell my lawyer to prepare the divorce papers" "Maraian, don't waste your time cause I'm not going to sign it"He pecked my lips and left I went to my room and cried all day.
Two days later
I thought of what Maxwell said and I felt like I had not been good to him at all he begged me a lot of times and I still refused to go back to him so today I decided to go to our house. I reached our house and I felt like something was wrong there were cars parked there and the guards face didn't seem welcoming, they weren't angry but some how sad. They greeted me and I responded to it I saw one of our maids who has this adorable baby girl that she named after me, she ran to me and hugged me I controlled my tears not wanting to act weak I front of my workers. I hugged little Maraian, she had really growned and looked like her mom now.
I went in and I saw the worst shock of my life a certain woman was there with Nathania and she looked happy but later displeased to see me, I thought it was weird, that Nathania 's mother to be here. My husband wanted me come back to him but here was his mother fucker mistress who thought she was the queen of the house, well sorry to burst her bubble then.
"Hi Mrs Duane how are you" I said happy to see her trying to ignore that bitch cause I wasn't here to start a fight with her and her bump was visible about two months old. "I'm fine dear and you" I'm great ma'am thank you so much for asking "About Nathanuacand her mother I'm so sorry" Yeah there is absolutely nothing u can do about it she said directly. I asked Rita if Maxwell was home and she said he was in his study I went to l his study and he didn't even notice that I was there. "Hi" I said softly waking him up from his terrance he looked very astonished to see me and I was so happy to see him.
Maraian, what are you, gosh I really miss you so much . I thought I would die when you mentioned about divorce I'm really sorry" his eyes start becoming watery he was trying to hold it back but the tears just flowed he looked horrible, his eyes didn't have the light and warmth it always had but rather darkness. I hugged him and we both cried together.I had been together with him for years but no matter what he never showed that soft side and I hardly saw him cry.
"What is Nathania doing here"Babe she insists on staying saying she would leak the news about she being pregnant" And so what about that "I said confused Maxwell just needed counselling. Maxwell held my hand and i walked with him downstairs. As I sat beside Nathania 's mother she stood up and went to sit beside Nathania. I looked at Maxwell expecting him to say something but he just looked at the. questionly.
"Maraian a cheating husband is something that's normal especially in your case you don't expect Maxwell to stick to you, he has a reputation that's needs to multiply in generations" And to make matters worse you tried to poison Nathania and kill both her and the baby "I have lots and lots of respect for you , but does that mean that Maxwell will have to cheat on me, I know I insisted on not getting married officially but doesn't give him the right of so ever to fucken cheat on Me and the accusations against me are all false " I said this in pure anger.
"First of all do not ever in you life call me mom again and think about this as an opportunity you could just step back and let Nathania dear, marry my son in law " she says furiously
"Hey stop it I'm warning you for the last time" Maxwell yelled at Nathania's that's the husband I wanted to stand by my side. " She is my wife and should be the one to be scolded for this ma I respect you very much but this is the love of my life we are talking about here""We all sat down for dinner and I ran to the the near by bathroom with Maxwell following me I vomited every thing I had ate that morning. Ohh shit, this pregnancy sickness was going to reveal my truth very fast and I didn't want Maxwell to know about anything now. He helped me stand and we went back to the table I told the maid to remove the grilled chicken from the table, but Nathania stopped her "You just can't clear a dish from the table just because it makes you nauseous that's a very bad habit Maraian.
" I'm sorry I"i said and scooped other dishes on my plate and went to the kitchen to eat" Maxwell followed me and sat next to me "What's the problem aren't you feeling well I remember you used to like chicken a lot what happened" "Maybe it's just the ingredients they used in making it" Maxwell ignored the fact that it didn't make sense. "Nathania seems very quiet today" I smiled after saying that "yeah I think she's starting to regret getting pregnant for me""and why would you say something like that." Her mom said she's been having trouble sleeping so she still feels tired "
I stood up to get my plates washed and then out of no where Nathania tripped over nothing and fell, luckily fir her tge maids caught her "Aaahhh Maraian why did you block my way with leg aahh my baby" Maxwell stood up and hurriedly ran to her side she was still screaming but I truly knew that she was faking because I was standing I didn't straighten my leg to let her trip.
Maxwell and her mother left with Nathania to the hospital then came back after hours I was just sitting on the sofa at the hall watching some Netflix series. Then I heard a maid greet Maxwell. I could see that he looked pissed, I went to him but he just helped Nathania with her mother following with and giving "Maraian please can you help me help me"I did just that because Maxwell was already in a bad mood and refusing was going to worsen things She placed her arm on my neck hand held her waist carefully. After some minutes she screamed in pain and I let go of her. "Aaah Maraian why did you hold my waist like that you hurt me Aaah" she screamed and Miss Lynn pushed me aside and took my position.
"You bitch why did you hold her like that at least care for her a bit.I went to my room ignoring Maxwell's calls. I was tired and just needed rest I felt strong some minutes ago but now I feel very tired and took my bathe and went to bed not waiting for Maxwell to come.
Maxwell tapped me on the shoulder and I pushed him away "I'm tired I said, it's been a long day can we do this tomorrow" I said still dozing of slightly.. " Maraian the stunt you pulled there was not good at all, you tripped her and she could have lost the baby and you didn't even bother to follow us to the hospital and here you are sleeping like a baby ""What do you want me to do and i did not block her path to let her fall down can't you see that it's all a lie a very big one too"
"Okay if you say it's a lie then fine, why didn't you go with us to the hospital it even made things worse her mom had to complain all the time" "Okay I know that I should have went to the hospital with you but come on if I went with you her mom would nag and it might turn bloody""What do you mean by bloody Maraian""I'm going to sleep I don't have time for this""Maraian I'm talking to you do not turn your back on me I think you have to leave or things might get bloody as you said"
