Chapter 9 - So his your brother cool.

Chapter 9: So his your brother cool.

"Look who it is," Hannah called as she smiled, turning to see who it was; to her surprise, it was Andrew.

"Andrew," she called as she smiled, her eyes furrowing. "Are you stalking me?"

Andrew looked at her. "Yes, and I was gonna murder you."

"Cute," Hannah said before glancing at him. "I love your shirt." She admired he was putting on an armless top, then black shorts, then he held a surfboard.

Andrew bent to look at his top. Hannah looked at him. "Did it come with a bag of granola and a matching pair of Tevas?"

Andrew smirked. "Wow, I didn't realize that you also did the peace Corps summer program."

He then looked at her. "I should have realized it because your vibes are definitely all about helping others."

Stephen looked at him. "Ohh, solid burn." Andrew laughed before she looked at his surfboard. "Are you planning on catching a lot of waves in Miami?"

He looked at the board. "Oh, this, it's actually Priea's board."

"Oh," Hannah said. "I didn't know that Priea was over there."

She looked ahead, then she sighted Priea sitting on the ground, but there was a sheet laid on the ground, so she was actually sitting on the sheet placed on the ground. "Hey girl," Hannah waved. Priea turned, carried her eyeglasses up a little, then waved back.

She turned back to Andrew. "She hates me." Andrew chuckled. "No. She thinks you don't care about the farm."

Hannah looked at him, shocked. "What? How could she think that, Andrew? I love that farm. Okay? Those root veggies are like my children now."

"Shit. Um... I ate some of your kids yesterday," Andrew said in a guilty tone.

Hannah looked at him. "No."

Andrew looked at her in an assuring way. "They were delicious." He kissed his hands to express how the taste was.

Hannah placed her hands on her chest. "Even the carrots?" Andrew nodded. "'How dare you, heart-breaking," Hannah said as she placed her head on the chair comfortably.

The both of them chuckled. "So nice seeing you outside the farm," he walked a little, then turned back to her. "Bye Anna." Then he walked away.

Our chemistry was kind of incredible. Thank God I was sitting on a towel, Hannah thought. "But I had a job to do," she said as picked up a microscope.

She saw Andrew walking towards Stephen, then sat down by her side. She removed the microscope from her face, then put it back to her front, then she saw a key tied to Priea's bag.

"Bingo," Hannah said as she placed the microscope on the table.

Meanwhile, Stephen entered NK's house. As she walked into his kitchen, surprisingly, she met Ria, the girl who helped her with the details of the school.

"What are you doing here?" Stephen asked as she saw Ria eating some fruits.

"Oh no," Ria said in a funny way because her mouth was filled up with fruits.

Stephen walked to where she was sitting. "I leave here," Ria said. Stephen looked at her in disbelief. "So NK is..."

Ria looked at her. "My brother, unfortunately," she said as she put grapes inside her mouth.

Stephen smiled. "You neglected to mention that on your tour."

Ria looked at her. "Oh. I prefer 'playfully omitted'."

Stephen walked closer to her. Ria looked at her dressing. "Hmm. Three weeks at Sara's High, and you got a whole new look now, huh?"

"Yeah," Stephen replied as she quickly covered herself with her robe. "You're not a fan?" Stephen said as she glanced at her.

"No, I think it's hot," Ria said, looking at her. "And as long as you did it for you and not for them," Ria said as she looked at her curiously.

Ria didn't do much, just put on a pink singlet and a multi-color shirt. Her black hair was let down. She put on a pin earring and then a mini skirt, giving her that boy-girl aura, then ended it up with a necklace.

"Do I seem like that?" Stephen said, pouting.

Ria smiled. "I don't know."

Then Ria stood up from the table she was sitting down on. "That's the exciting part of getting to know someone." Ria stepped closer. "You're a mystery until you're not."

"Oh. I was gonna hole up in the screening room and catch a Godard flick if you want to... ditch the suck fest."

"Maybe, I do," Stephen said as she sighed. "But I... shouldn't."

"Suit yourself," Ria said as she walked. "Oh. The urge usually starts by sundown."

"Really?" Stephen said as she looked at her in amusement.

"No," Ria said after a quick thought. Stephen looked at her. "What? My brother is not that fun." Ria chuckled. "Good to know you're down though. Enjoy the cool kids." Then she walked away smiling.

Stephen laughed as she left the kitchen. As Stephen went upstairs, it was just like the rooms got bigger by the view.

Then she entered a somewhat living room. No TV, though, but it had a couch. She saw different photos, then she sighted a cupboard. She opened it, but she did not see anything suspicious.

Then she saw a tablet on top of the table. She picked it up; luckily, it had no password.

Then she tapped the screen, which led her to his chart. As she saw the person he was messaging, she almost dropped the tablet in shock.
